Very cool place and concept! The menu and drinks are all on theme and tasty.
The presentation of all the drinks is so creative, it’s so much fun watching other tables drinks come out and seeing all the different trays. A lot of respect for the team here serving and preparing all the trays!
My only critique would be due to the complexity of the trays, sometimes it can take longer than expected if there is only 1 or 2 people serving, but it is worth the wait!

We had such a fun night for my friends birthday! Wonderful drinks and service! If it’s your birthday it’s so fun! Vinalou the server was amazing! Don’t know if that’s spelled right! Best server and vibe! I would say more fun music. But other than that so fun!!! Thank you for the amazing night!!!!

Atmosphere was really cool but it ends there unfortunately. I found it all very over priced , especially the drinks. Service was VERY slow , took 2 hours to get an order of lukewarm wings (7 very small wings) the saucy wings had freezing cold sauce added on that were sent back and missing food items that was never received . Our server Danielle was very sweet but overall the place seems very unorganized poorly managed and under staffed. It’s a shame because this place has allot of potential due to its fun themed atmosphere.

Awful service. Very rude and condescending. Server, I would never go back!
We were seated near the door and every time the door opened there was a blast of extremely cold air that hit us. Our server took forever in coming to serve us and while we did have a a couple drinks each we were then asked to vacate because they needed our table for another party and started moving furniture around even before we were able to finish our drinks.

Quick summary (in case you don’t want to read the whole thing): terrible service. We waited more than 30 minutes for our drinks, parts of our order were forgotten multiple times, and the Christmas drinks are absolutely not worth the price since there’s no “mini-show” involved, only a decorated tray. Waitress only showed up 3 times in 3 hours.
We actually started off fine. We were a group of 6 and got a corner table by the entrance, which was acceptable. The waitress brought some water and took our drinks order within a reasonable time. She did mentioned that the Christmas drinks would take 15–20 minutes (the menu says the same) because they come with a “show” and they need to set that up. We ordered 2 of those and 4 regular margaritas.
Well, the drinks took around 40 minutes to arrive, including the margaritas, and they only started preparing them after we reminded them we were still waiting. This was with only four tables occupied at the time (ours included), so maybe 15% capacity of the place (not even).
The Christmas drinks, 19 CAD each, were very tasty, but there was not “mini-show” at all. They were just served on a decorated tray that looked like it gets reused for everyone. Nothing special to justify the extra cost or the waiting time. On top of that, a different server brought them over and she was zero friendly. She basically dropped the drinks on the table and walked away without even checking if we needed anything.
After getting our drinks, we wanted to order food but the waitress was nowhere to be found. It probably took another 20-30 minutes before we got her attention. Food was acceptable, but not worth the price either. Wings were tiny and the texture kind of weird, as if they had been frozen for too long. The food didn’t take long to come out, but everything arrived at different times, and they completely forgot one of the main dishes (they served the fries that came with the quesadillas… but not the quesadillas!!!!). It honestly felt like they completely forgot about our table because we were in the corner, away from everyone else. Our waitress was nice when she was around, but we saw her maybe 3-4 times in the entire 3 hours we were there. No other servers were around either when we needed something.
We didn’t know they would charge 20% gratuity for groups of 6. Normally that’s fine (every place does that nowadays), but the service was SO bad and slow, that we were all upset about it. They didn’t deserve the 20% of our bill at all. Even 10% would have felt very generous.
Would not recommend. Nothing about this place would make us want to come back.

Drinks took forever and tasted like there was no alcohol in them at all (despite being $18+ each). One star for the decorations, but I just got a really sketchy vibe here. Music was also terrible. First time at the Potion Room to enjoy some holiday fun! The cocktail bar was set up with really fun Christmas decorations and the cocktail creations sounded tasty and festive. Unfortunately the $19 cocktails tasted like pure sugar or pure alcohol. They had fun presentations for each drink (that took 20 minutes each to arrive) however even this was overshadowed by the horrible service. When drinks were brought to the table they were angrily dropped off by clearly annoyed waitresses. After each ordering 3 drinks we were asked to clear up our bill and were being rushed out so they could clear our table to seat the clear line up at the door. We were not even able to finish our drinks. We also noted the table next to us turned over twice, once with a table of 4 who sat for 30-40 minutes without zero service who left prior to ordering and the next 2 tables of 2, one who also was asked to quickly clear up their bill and leave and the other who appeared as appalled by the service as us and chose to vacate following one round. I could go on with the disappointment of Potion Room, but in short, awful service, awful drinks, poor seating design, poor heating, all creating a terrible experience.
