We had an amazing experience at Lougheed House. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We will definitely be going back again.

We went here for Valentine's Day because all the other restaurants were full. The food wasn't that great but the service was really good. We loved our server and the ambiance and it was in a beautiful place. I loved the antique stuff in the basement where the washrooms are.

The food was quality, as to be expected. Some of the touches were from packages but nice nonetheless. The lobster bisque was lobster tomato bisque and frankly I could not differentiate from a plain, scratch-made tomato soup. The salmon was well managed for Winter in Canada. The touch of sauces with the beef was more like a garnish and could have been more generous. And, with defined tips, the service was sparse. We ran out of our drinks and water. Still, the servers were bustling and did respond when we tried to catch their attention. The setting was nice enough. LED bulbs in old fixtures looked out of place and were bare and glaring from just above our heads. A shade could have softened those nicely. The Lougheed house lists parking for 20 something cars; I only found a 6 car surface lot so must have missed something. The building was warm against the bitter cold. I don't think I would go there again, but I would consider the caterer, depending on the price value.

The meal we experienced was good. Could have enjoyed it a little better if we had some heat where we were seated. Drafty and cold. Service was just ok. Ordered a glass of wine each when our entree arrived and didn't get it till we were through eating. All in all , with a twenty percent gratuity expected, I would rate the overall experience as a six out of ten.

Probably the worst restaurant experience I have had in years. I actually felt bad for the servers, they were clearly untrained. They had no idea what they were doing. Failed to clear the plates off before they put the new course down, we sat for at least 15 minutes before anybody even acknowledge that we were there. i could go on and on about the service but suffice to say well. They were pleasant. They were unskilled and we were waiting on all courses and we're not acknowledged as even being there most of the time. In addition, the main course tenderloin steak was completely tasteless, and had the texture of mush. This was not high quality food. To top it off, the restaurant automatically put a 20% service tip on the bill which was very insulting for a table of two and for the amount of service that we did not receive. In short, this dinner was a complete fail, and I would not recommend this catering pop-up to anyone.

Bar service was very slow initially. Otherwise this was a good experience, knowing that this was a "Pop-Up" event.

Lougheed House was a lovely spot for a Valentine's dinner and we couldn't have been more pleased with it. The food was not super adventurous, but the choices all sounded great and our dishes were delicious.

Outstanding interaction with the players in our murder mystery dinner evening. Excellent ambience, live-it environment , fun, interactive and as alway, food is love!

Our food was cold when we got it and our orders were messed up. They gave the wrong soup to a person at our table who had allergies to it. It was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. Other tables in our area were messed up too. Use a different company next time.

Relaxing experience for their Christmas tea. Service was good and the food was excellent - very nice variety of savoury and sweet. The ambiance of the Loughheed House added to the specialness of the occasion.

The food was not good. Bread and baked goods were dry and stale. Definitely not fresh. Very minimal flavours. We were extremely disappointed. The service was very slow and not attentive. For High Tea in a historic building use china tea pots!!! Not black modern plastic contraptions. Service was slow. Unsure of items on tea trays. Forgot water. The ambience was fantastic . Decorated beautifully for the holidays.

We were there to enjoy the Christmas afternoon tea. It was very tasty and we enjoyed the scenery.

I realize afternoon teas are a licence to print money, and more to the point, so does Lougheed House. They've jammed in as many tables as possible, to the point where I was seated on a wooden bench literally right on top of a steam radiator. They couldn't even be bothered to wedge a foot to prevent the table from wobbling, but luckily I had some scrap paper in my pocket as remedy. The food was mediocre at best, with at least one item (the macarons) apparently being prepackaged and not freshly made. At one in the afternoon they were all out of my wife's first tea choice, and the plastic bodum presses that the tea was served in were not precisely in keeping with the ambience. Speaking of ambience, there was very little in the way of Christmas, and what little there was - the music - wasn't audible over the table of ten next to us in any case. We then had to wait over twenty minutes for our cheque while the server dealt with the cheques for each person individually at that same table of ten. All in all, it was overpriced for a mediocre experience. I have no problem with being charged a premium price, but I then expect a premium product, and this wasn't that. EDIT: my wife reminded me that the advertising for this promised “mince pies and Christmas pudding”. Blatantly false. Except for a little peppermint on the chocolate ganache tarts, there was nothing particularly Christmasy about it.

Our time at the Lougheed house took us back in time with the stunning wood features in the house, the colourful stained glass windows, the amazing Christmas decorations and the beautiful China we ate on. The choices of food for our afternoon tea time were all delicious. We would highly recommend the Lougheed house if you are looking for a lovely afternoon out.

The Halloween Afternoon Tea was lots of fun. Food was good, decor perfect. The only downside was that the line for the tea leaf readers was too long & didn't move. It would have been fun - but didn't spoil our experience.
