We went here for the afternoon high tea . The interiors look like they are taking us on a tour of the historical times . The staff were really good and helpful. The only thing that I didn't like was getting a French press for the tea in that setup . Otherwise a good selection of food .

We came for Valentine's, the food is quite good and the building is marvelous to be in but the service although hospital was painfully slow.We sat down at 6:30p and couldn't leave until 9pAlso we came when it was -7c outside but indoors we were still shivering the whole time and had to keep our jackets on. I get old homes don't have modern heating but that's no excuse to not throw a heater in the corner or something.

We dined here for Valentine's Day. Service was so bad! We had a four course meal. In 1 hour we had only received the appetizer. Then they forgot our soups and served us our mains. Food was very average.

My husband and I enjoyed wonderful food in a beautifully restored heritage home. We finished the evening with a few dances in a different space decorated for the occasion. Music level was perfect to enjoy and still be able to talk. I look forward to another opportunity to visit Lougheed House.

This place is more haunted than nearly any place I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. Across the street is calgarys old money gentlemans club ( where they eat orphans on solstices, big smoker outside they build a wooden fence pretty tall and put a tent around the cooker but I know all about what’s just a few feet beneath ground here. One of the intersecting inner points of the underground yyc that is of course shaped as a pentagram topside south, see the artists depiction of the Barron building down closer to the courthouse on Stephen ave? Look close at the guys face in the logo he’s red and orange like flames⚡️⚡️⚡️downward facing pentagram behind his head too. And that’s a villain moustache if I ever saw one, well a 1930s robber baron variety anyway. Calgary is all about the stampede every June so I get the appeal.☄️ evil appeal lol

We have been the this High Tea before Covid and really enjoyed it. This time, however, the experience was different. The tables were so close together that our server could hardly reach us except to navigate around the room. It was packed but there were only two servers so we waited at least 15 minutes after being seated to even get our glass of water. Service was very slow and intermittent. We were disappointed as we were paying $60 for a few sandwiches so expected more. We have also been to the restaurant for lunch and did enjoy that.

Arrived at 5:45 for a 6 reservation...all doors locked .Had to circle the building to find someone to let us in...husband has mobility issues. They kept doors locked until 6...people lined up outside. No appetizers, no buns or bread, Soup not served until 7:30 .main course at 8...warm not hot. Murder mysytery theme was Ok...one actor didn't show up. It was an ok but not great experience.

We attended the murder mystery event held by Flair catering. It was our first time at one of these events and we were excited for the experience. The food was cold and mediocre. The cocktails were terrible (the bartender's inexperience showed) and the wine list did not have any great choices. The server was very inexperienced and seemed like a volunteer or a last minute fill in. The event stated that cocktails were included in the ticket and then the server made us pay for our drinks at the end of the night, even though they advertised it incorrectly. The event itself was good and the actors were great. I hope they would improve the food and drinks in the future or we won't be back.

The service was amazing, but wasn't readily available when we needed something. The food was so delicious and fun, and the tea was great! The ambiance was so cool but the music kept cutting out and it was dead quiet. The other tables could hear our conversation clearly even when we spoke quietly. It was akward. Regardless would recommend for a cute and lovely experience!

What a hidden gem! This was a special time to celebrate my sisters birthday. All 3 of us had food allergies (communicated in advance) that they accommodated smoothly. Presentation was exquisite, and service impeccable. The tour of Lougheed House after high tea was very interesting. They've done a phenomenal job at presenting late 1800's - early 1900's home life.

I took my family there for Mother's Day brunch. The food was barely edible. They brought us fruit cups that were warm. They were clearly prepared the day before and had been sitting out a long time. As my wife could not eat her meal, she ended up ordering an assortment of pastries instead. They looked like they were bought from Sobeys and had past their expiry date. the cupcakes had frozen icing and the other pastries could hardly be cut into as they were so hard and dry. Honestly, this was the worst dining experience we've had in Calgary in 17 years of living here. It really was a huge disappointment especially on Mother's Day. I was hoping to give her a new and unique dining experience but instead I provided my family with the worst dining experience we've had.

Attended the Murder Mystery Dinner at The Lougheed House Restaurant. So much fun, great interaction, wonderful food, I would do it again in a heartbeat. I had lost my wallet on the way, and they gave me a glass of wine on the house.

Server was kind, pleasant, and informative. Loved high tea, setting and tea options. The best items were scones, lemon desert, and the prosciutto fig, finger sandwich. But everything was good. Bit pricy, but worth it. Tea is good too. Ambiance cannot beat it. Highly reccomend

Only had Afternoon Tea here through the years. Very lovely restaurant. Try to always get a window seat because it has a lovely view of the garden. Afternoon Tea here is always lovely and the food is always delicious. I feel it's a hidden gem of a place for Afternoon Tea. Hopefully it will get more popular. Can't wait to go for Afternoon Tea here again.
