I would give 5 stars for my meal if I could! I got the vegan Thai wings, the vegan butter tofu, and vegan brownie. Everything was delicious and I will definitely come back next time I’m in Calgary. The owners are friendly and welcoming too.

Probably my fifth visit to this restaurant. Each time I’ve really enjoyed the food and I’m not a vegetarian - although my kids are vegetarian or vegan and I do love vegetables. It’s always an experience for me trying something outside of what I normally eat. Last night I had vegan pineapple chicken wings and I’m still dreaming about them. The rest of my meal was great too - but that appetizer is one of those dishes that rates up there in my favourite five of all time. Our server was absolutely great and friendly naturally - not just fake and out for a tip.
Note they have delicious carnivore options too. I had Philly Cheese Steak as my main with a salad which I enjoyed. Next time - and there will be many next times - I’m going for the vegetarian option of the Philly Cheese Steak or the vegan chicken sub my son enjoyed and I tasted. Yum, yum, yummy.

The Street Eatery offers delicious food, ample portions, and friendly service. I have been coming here for years as the menu has many vegan options which is important to me as a vegan, but also regular menu options for friends and family who aren’t vegan. This is a great place where we can all go out and enjoy our meal, without having to settle for just a “veggie burger” like I have to at most restaurants. The food is tasty and I particularly recommend the seitan wings as an appetizer and the Vietnamese sub for the main course. The portions are quite large though so be sure to bring your appetite as you won’t leave hungry.

Street Eatery is a must-visit, especially for vegans. Their menu is thoughtfully curated and well-executed, offering plenty of flexibility when ordering. The Plant-Based Philly Cheesesteak with waffle fries and the butter tofu are my absolute favorites. I’d recommend it to everyone! Their staff is always friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere makes dining in a great experience.
I’m from France and currently on tour , I’ve spent a month in Calgary, and honestly, I’ve never found a place as good as this one. The food is incredible: fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and full of variety : great for vegetarians, vegans, and meat lovers alike.
The place is accessible, clean, warm, and authentic. The two owners (a wonderful married couple) are so kind and welcoming. You can really feel the love and care they put into their food and service.
This is by far my favorite spot in Calgary ! I’m leaving soon, but as soon as I come back to Calgary, I’ll definitely be returning here.
