DISGUSTING – Completely Ruined My Day🤢

I was excited to try this place for the first time today, but it ended up ruining my entire experience. I ordered the Bison Burger and was immediately disappointed. When it arrived, I could smell something burned. At first, I thought it was the fries—and it likely was. They were visibly dry and overcooked, and no amount of seasoning could hide the strong burnt smell and taste. I tried to eat the ones that weren’t completely charred and used ketchup to mask the flavor, but once the ketchup ran out, I couldn't continue. It was just too unpleasant to eat.

Then I moved on to the burger. I’ve never had a bitter burger before—so I took it apart to find out why it tasted so off. The patty was severely burned and looked like someone had just scraped the charcoal off and served it anyway. The arugula was wilted and looked almost mashed, adding even more bitterness to an already awful bite.

This was honestly the worst burger I’ve ever had. I would rather eat a basic fast-food burger or even a gas station sandwich over what I was served here. It looked and tasted like it was made by an unsupervised kid. Absolutely unacceptable.

Needs improvement. Front staff needs to be more understanding and flexible. Needs of customers are important. No Sauces means exactly that, for customers who have food sensitivities and preferences. Change cafeteria style to restaurant please. Thanks.

When it comes to comfort food, this is my go-to lunch place in downtown. My personal favourite is their Pan Seared Arctic Char, which you will find in their regular menu. Their Daily Feature menu were also amazing. Make sure to have room for dessert as their maple cheesecake and lemon tarts are to die for.

The food was terribly over salted as were their chips. Please take salt out of your kitchens. I had to wrap up my food to go as the noise level was excruciating.

It’s great to encourage students in the food industry! Breakfast sandwiches are just about right. Cappuccino was well done. Service at the cashier can be improved.

Had the beef strogonoff and not only it was fairly little portion of food for a meal, it was room temperature. Overall I had a more negative than positive experience compared to other options on the same price range.

Great place to try new dishes as the menu changes from time to time. Also, it's a great way to support student development... win/win 👍🏾
