My husband and I came here for a date and really liked our experience. We ordered fried pickles for a starter and they were some of the best deep fried pickles we have had. He ordered a beef gnocchi dish off their test kitchen menu and it was incredible, we couldn't believe how high quality beef was used with the dish. I ordered the fish and chips (which is why my rating isnt a full 5 stars), and while I absolutely adored the thick English style chips, the fish was far too heavy and greasy. I could only eat about half of my fish until I started feeling like I was having a little bit of upset stomach due to the greasyness of it. I was still full and we loved our visit (and will return again), but for a gastro pub I expected the fish and chips to be the star of the show. Our waitress was great and friendly, and the restaurant itself was super nice, but the fish and chips let me down.

Sat upstairs on the patio (18+ area). Great food and drinks. Friendly and helpful staff, as I have a food allergy. Can easily see this becoming a favorite haunt.This time around we ate downstairs on a Tuesday to have the taco deal. All three flavours are fabulous, yet our favourite was the spicy pork taco with habanero pineapple salsa. To top off our meals, we had the very delicious sticky toffee pudding (which could have fed 4 people).Parking: Very limited and very tight spaces considering all of the pick up trucks and large SUVs. But this should not deter you from coming.

It was relatively alright in the bar, nice atmosphere and decent talkable people around. I didn't however appreciate how I kept hearing some of waitresses talking bad about my quietness, I'll pardon if I unintentionally creeped people out and my speech impairment from conclusions but if you have issues, make it front with me and I'll respect that.To the one who called me 'gay' for ignoring her. Sure, I'm super gay, I enjoy grabbing attention and making eyes at hot men (sarcastically) But in seriousness, I'd come back under better circumstances and feeling more willing talk when comfortable, Amy the bartender seemed a bit nice, just maybe not necessarily comfortable with quiet people.Come and enjoy yourselves as the food smelled great and noted lot of happy people around, great place to sit back and relax. Just be aware if you're quiet like me, you're gonna hear gossip ? Don’t worry about it.

We had the worst experience at this pub. Service was super slow and when we expressed our frustration the option given to us was ‘Yes you can cancel the order and ask for bill’. We felt undertone of racism. We were ignored a bit. Although the waitress were very polite and working very hard. We felt really horrible as we were out to have a good time as a couple. When I left the place someone screamed — yeyeee. May be it’s unrelated but it’s horrible. I have no complains for the wait staff but something is really troubling.

Me and a colleague went in for a late lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was welcoming, our service was great and the internet was fast! The food is just okay, I got the birria quesadilla and it was SO salty it was almost inedible. And I love salt. So maybe just don’t get that lol. The fries were really good though and they have a mushroom gravy which was also delicious. Overall great experience.
