I was out with a group of friends, we were all buying drinks, buying food, and tipping our servers and bartenders all night long. At the end of night I went up to the bar and wanted to order 1 last drink. After waiting at the bar for while, I finally made eye contact with the bartender and he came over and I ordered 1 beer, which I did not tip on, as I had been tipping all night long….I then walk away and start drinking my beer, then from across the bar, the bartender starts swearing at me and flipping me off… super unprofessional… I like the trop and usually have a great time but didn’t love the way I was treated at the end…
Friendly staff welcoming environment. There are plenty of dart boards and happening on the weekends. Golden tee too.

I’ve been to the trop a few times now and my experience is always about the same. The service is great, the atmosphere is always fun with live music or drag shows but the food always leaves something to be desired for me. We went for weekend brunch and the Avo toast was good, but everyone else’s dishes were mediocre. It’s fun after sports or for the shows but I’d probably eat at home, and just get drinks in the future.

Saturday night band was awesome 2 weeks ago. Drinks are a normal price. Great atmosphere. I remember this place growing up around the corner defiantely has changed lol
