A delightful neighborhood dive bar and dance hall. The food is great. It has a great selection of beer. A wonderful north facing patio, nice shade on hot days. Danceable live bands and an adult crowd. Great fun!

I’ve been to the trop a few times now and my experience is always about the same. The service is great, the atmosphere is always fun with live music or drag shows but the food always leaves something to be desired for me. We went for weekend brunch and the Avo toast was good, but everyone else’s dishes were mediocre. It’s fun after sports or for the shows but I’d probably eat at home, and just get drinks in the future.

This place is sooo much fun!!!! We came after dinner for drinks and music ( unfortunately haven’t tried their food yet) but the atmosphere was absolutely amazing!!!! We had such a great time, we dance, we sing and just enjoyed the good quality music and a wonderful band.
