We are semi regulars on the weekends, we like live music and they often have good cover bands. We enjoy the fish and chips, burgers and handhelds. The beer selection is decent for lighter craft beers but definitely lacking in dark beers. We usually have dinner and stay for a couple sets. Last month we danced to the band "45" and the sound was incredible. Tonight saw the band "Siren's Gate" and we left early as the sound was terrible, and did not get better after asking the soundman to make changes. I'd say the largest variable on whether we enjoy our evening at Waterloo Kitchen and Bar isn't the food (good) or the bands (competent), it is the sound system and the mix. So when the sound is amazing, like with the band 45, we stay the night. When it sucks, like tonight, we are home by 9:30. From what I saw tonight we aren't the only ones. My advice to the owner: get all the performing community that plays at Waterloo in for a meeting or 3 to discuss how to ensure the sound is great, so that your patrons want to stay for the evening and enjoy the music. A collaborative solution is needed.

Not many places now days where the owner actually comes to your table and sees how everything is. David was very hospitable and made us feel at home. Food was great, service was awesome, and all of us had an absolutely fantastic time! Thanks again, David! Hope to be back soon!!!

Went because of the live music but won't do that again. The music was great but everything else was disappointing. Food was ok but not up to the raving reviews. Service was just horrid. We waited close to an hour before a server finally asked 2 of us out of a table of four if we wanted something. The bartender occasionally looked over at us when he wasn't scrolling on his phone. The 2 servers seemed to spend most of their time huddled near the bar and avoiding anyone else in the bar.

To complete the night, we had a per person charge added to our bill identified as a "Live Music Support". The server explained that as a charge that goes directly to the band. Checked that with the band and it's simply not true. It seems to be the bar's way to add revenue without telling patrons until the end of the night. Shameful and unscrupulous ownership!

Not a chance I'd go back and support Waterloo.

Amazing burgers there made with chuck steak and beef brisket so juicy! Great service. They have the packer games on always. Go Pack Go

Really like this place. Always a very pleasant experience. Has a great variety in the menu ( BBQ is amazing) and tons of great drinks from beer to wine and cocktails. Great spot to watch sports. They have some games and live music most weekends. Overall highly recommend giving it a try!

I liked everything, a great atmosphere of the sports bar and a variety of food! It was my first time here, although I have been coming to my favorite salon Velvet Skin Boutique in this area more than once ?

Their menu is big and varied. Atmosphere typical of a sports bar, they have a few arcade games in a corner. Trivia night on Tuesdays starting at 8pm is a neat treat. Service is spotty and each time I went here was super slow, hard to get the servers' attention.
