Hotel’s location is perfect for walking to bars and restaurants.Lobby is nice, staff are friendly and helpful.Room is smaller than most we’ve stayed in but clean, and bed and linens were lovely.The bathroom however is ridiculously small with the toilet positioned beside and in front of the sink your legs graze against the toilet when using the sink. Needs more hooks for hanging towels/clothes. Very awkward!People with mobility issues will struggle to exit parking garage as there’s steps to get to the elevators, if you can, use valet parking.Parking garage needs work, again people with mobility issues be careful, uneven ground on level C.Overall hotel is nice just small, I’d recommend it for short stays only due to size.Rooms: Small but clean.Walkability: Lots of spots nearby to walk tooFood & drinks: Variety of restaurants and bars close

Excellent location. The gym and pool machines are very good. The room is fine, it is not luxurious but it is very comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast is very complete but I didn't like that it was not included in the value of the stay and you have to pay for it separately. The attention of the people is very very good. It has parking but it costs around 30 CAD per day, on weekends it is a little cheaper. The location is excellent, right in downtown and easy to get to any side of the outskirts. Super recommended

Our experience at the downtown Calgary Westin was fantastic! Having recently moved to Calgary, after a long journey, we were warmly greeted and cared for from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and the bed incredibly comfortable, but what truly stood out was the exceptional customer service provided by Bless. Bless went above and beyond, making our stay truly memorable. The facility was impeccably clean and inviting. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Westin to all of our friends and family. Special thank you to Bless.

I was greeted by Nelson & Drew when I checked in who were absolutely welcoming, accommodating and friendly. I was permitted to check-in early which was appreciated. In the evening I went to the bar and met the BEST BARTENDER IN CALGARY, GANESH!! ? He made me laugh so much and recommended a wonderful Amber Ale. Every day I was greeted by the friendliest, kindest, and professional concierge, Lady Gaga (Gagandeep ?). She made me feel like an absolute Queen and her hospitality is amazing!!! Highly recommend ?

Stayed during the recent cold snap in Calgary. Room was horribly cold as the heater could not keep up. Ran a blow dryer periodically to try and warm up the bed. Friends in the other tower were warm and comfortable. Expressed our concerns and management simply said it was unprecedented cold and there was nothing they could do (so our problem). Even a token gesture of good will (i.e. a discount on your next stay, etc.) would have worked but they seemed unsympathetic. Will stay at other Marriott properties but not this one again due to the poor response from management.Rooms: Awful due to poor heating system.

Stayed here Jan 2024 as an Ambassador Elite member. Was upgraded to a corner suite on the top floor. The room was spacious with high ceilings and standard westin furnishings. Seems like a very popular hotel for business travellers and for conferences.The buffet breakfast was very average. There is also no club lounge which is common among Westin hotels. Location is great. It’s centrally located downtown and there are several restaurants nearby. Valet parking was $45.I have now recently stayed at every Bonvoy property in downtown Calgary and can say that the Westin is a good option. I will mix it into my stays when visiting Calgary in the future!
