The fellas that run this joint are just wonderful, and the food is always great! My spouse and I come here regularly because you just can't beat the atmosphere!
Everyone knows each other here, and once you come you're part of the family!
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely local hidden gem.

First class all day breakfast cafe located just East of 36th Street on 17th Avenue SE ( International Avenue). Small and cosy with only about a half dozen tables and it can be busy. Great Food, and unbeatable service. Breakfasts in 5 minutes!

Fantastic breakfast stop. Love that they bake their own bread. Will definitely be back

Hi there I just wanted to say this is the best place to eat breakfast in town. They are so kind and make u feel so welcome. Everything on the menu is fresh and even the bread is home made fresh. We love this place and go often. I would strongly recommend going and checking it out. Prices are so fair

Today was my first time eating here. Tims cafe was highly raved about on the yyc foodies facebook page. The owners are super friendly and the food is amazing!!! Homemade bread in-house. I had the denver omelet the food portions are huge!!! This is definitely a hidden Jem in calgary. If you haven't eaten here you better give it a try. We will be back!!

This amazing little place is a true gem.
First off, let's talk price- $10 breakfast is unheard of anymore, top that off with homemade bread (except for the ancient grains and rye bread), homemade treats, and super friendly staff.
The food was fantastic, quick to hit the table, and exactly as ordered.

They recommend reservations, and I can see why, 3- 2 person tables, and 2 4 seaters, so space is limited, but the wait would still be worth it!
Breakfast comes with free coffee from a self-serve bar and free refills.
Some interesting decor items on the walls, but the place is clean, and there was a steady flow of patrons.
100% will return.

Small but well known to locals. Don and Tim are a great team. Their coffee is pretty good. Breakfast made me feel like a champion. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Thanks guys!

Great foods. Friendly people. Good price. I ordered their Denver's omelet many times, and it was the most delicious omelet I have ever ate.

I'm a regular. I can't figure out why they haven't raised their prices yet?

Myself and friends tried out Tim's Cafe for breakfast. We made a reservation, which is recommended. When we arrived, the cook had just made a fresh batch of cinnamon buns. Smaller cafe but big on friendliness, fast service, and a homey environment. We ordered at the counter, which was made to oder, then sat at our table. We had eggs Benedict, omlette, and eggs with bacon. It was very tasty. Constant flow of customers, which is a true sign of a neighborly hang out.

Why have I not known this old-fashioned cafe? What a hidden gem with traditional food ...before going out me eat turned pretentious and bougie. We SHARED the Lobster Bennie because it was so huge and delish! Also took home baked goods. The bread is incredible. Really nice staff - they recognize everyone. I will be hanging out at Tim's because this is the restaurants I remember from my childhood that made sense.

Went to Tim's last weekend with some friends and we had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was kind and prompt. They also have the best baked goods, just like my grandma used to make. I highly recommend coming here, it's quaint and homey. They have the kindest people who know how to bake and cook! We walked away full from a great breakfast and with bags full of baked goods!
