Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. Bao was really good too. This place is incredibly under hyped. I saw two different people go up and thank the chef before leaving, I’ve never seen anyone do that at a ramen place.Prices were really reasonable for the quality of the food, I’d say on the lower end considering what you’d get elsewhere for the same price.
A pop up located inside The Shelter Cocktail Bar. We came on a Wednesday evening for ramen night. Very cozy spot and we were able to get a seat at the bar for 2 at 6:20PM.It was my first time having a shio ramen which is a salt-based broth. The chef was very kind and offered us the yuzu avocado whip with chips for waiting as he had a big order ahead of ours. We got the duck truffle shio and sablefish yuzu shio. I wasn't use to the shio broth and found both broths a bit on the saltier side. Both broths tasted very clean and flavourful. My favorite part of the dish was definitely the homemade noodles, which were cooked perfectly and had a great texture. The sablefish was crispy and soft on the inside. The duck breast was also delicious.Would recommend and would want to come back to try other menus.

2022-Sept-14: Came back for a late anniversary dinner and definitely has cemented itself as our favourite restaurant in Calgary. If you're visiting from out of town, I highly recommend trying it out.Really enjoyed the food. Tapa style food that is very flavourful, leaving us wanting more. Have to say that this is one of our favourite restaurants. Can't wait to see what else will be on the menu.

Food is pretty good but was a bit pricey considering the smaller portion size. Spent about $87 for two people with two cocktails plus one dessert.The cocktails were around $17 each but I believe they put more alcohol in compared to other places.I believe their menu changes every now and then so would be open to coming back and trying it out.

I tried their takeout for the first time, and it was awesome and the owner was so friendly! King Salmon Katsu Rice Sando that I tried was delicious! I’ll definitely come back here to try other foods on the menu!
