Such a cute spot for Japanese street food! You order at the counter, grab your food, and seat yourself at one of the open tables—it feels casual yet cozy. We tried their tantan ramen, beef yakiniku bento, and salmon sashimi, and as true admirers of Japanese cuisine, we loved every bite. As a combo we also tried out their calamari and takoyaki too which was really really good. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Definitely a place we’d come back to! ❤️
PS: I didn’t even get a picture of the food—it was so tempting I didn’t have the patience! 😋

Sushi was mushy and too saucy, flavors were bland. Not very busy and service was slow. Not recommended.

Food is overall good. My individual complaints are that the lobster pasta doesn't have really any lobster in it and the miso Bolognese doesn't really have miso flavour. I appreciate the effort.

I have been coming to this location on and off and sometimes on again since they've opened. The ramen here is one of the best options in Calgary, for the price the ramen is very, very decent. It's a solid go to place in my books. They make a coffee bubble tea which is awesome, but not always available. I've only eaten the black ramen and miso ramen. Also the karaage is very good at TSM. The cooks here do good job.

I haven't left a review till now, and I have to. I stopped in the other day, and was in a pretty unusual situation.(For privacy reasons I'm being vague) It was only because of Sierra at the front that my issue was completely resolved, so shout-out to her for figuring things out for me.

My family and I came here for dinner tonight. I found prices to be really reasonable. The food was decent, not the best out there for ramen. The only thing I didn't like was our ramen came out and 2 bento boxes we had to wait quite a while to get. We were almost done our soups and bento boxes came. They gave us pocky sticks and said sorry. We would come back.

I wouldn’t describe this bowl of noodles as ramen. What I ordered was the Black Ramen Deluxe. Let’s set aside whether it tasted good or not — I’ve been to Japan over 10 times, and every time, I make sure to try ramen. But I’ve never had a bowl of ramen like this.

This bowl resembled Chinese zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) more than Japanese ramen. First of all, black garlic oil ramen should not have ground meat. Perhaps some regional styles of Japanese ramen might include ground meat, but tonkotsu ramen definitely doesn’t.

As for the broth — it tasted just like instant noodle soup. Overall, this was basically a slightly better version of instant noodles.

Yes, the price was cheap. It’s okay if something doesn’t taste great — that’s subjective. But it shouldn’t be thrown together carelessly. Once you start randomly tossing things in, it becomes something else entirely. If you want to make proper ramen, you need to respect what ramen is. You can’t just put anything in and still call it ramen.

You could call this bowl “Chinese ramen” or “fusion-style noodles,” but don’t call it Japanese ramen. If I hadn’t been so hungry that day, I would’ve stopped after two bites and thrown it away.

The place was nice overall, but we didn’t get that “wow” effect from the sushi. They were pretty standard — nothing really stood out. However, I really liked their milk drink and actually ordered it twice, which says a lot! The soup was also quite tasty, but again, nothing extraordinary.

It’s a decent spot, but not something we’d go out of our way for next time.

The assistant manager Zoe was such a delight to talk to. She was very helpful and kind. She was working nonstop during some busy hours and still paid very close attention to a special request I made. Food was great too! Thank you

Value for food is great. You get some decent food for under $20 the amount isn't crazy but neither is the cost.

Came here for the ramen and donburi for the first time. From the outside, I thought the vibe was right for a friday night din but 2nd floor is a different restaurant (that's on me). Inside, the place is pretty unimpressive, dark, like that cheap foodstall on the side of a busy pathway where you would reach over to grab something quick to go. Maybe it kinda lives up to its name...

I honestly don’t get what the hype is about. Ordered the donburi and a few of the “top favorites.” Everything tasted aggressively average - mall food quality. Picked up some sushi from the display fridge - it was pretty cold and dry. Like, break-your-chopsticks dry. That one’s on me though. I shouldnt have expected anything different.

Here’s the deal: if you’re craving sushi or ramen, just go to a proper sushi or ramen spot. This place competes on price but not on taste. A solid, resounding “meh.”

Stopped in for lunch. Food was tasty and portion size was good for lunch. Good selection for take out. Soup needed a little punch IMO. Good value for the money
