I was disappointed with Trawler's haddock & chips. They weren't terrible but the chips are generic small cut, nothing special, and the fish was a little less than fresh. Batter was crispy in places and soggy from heavy oil in other places. No where near as good as Pelican Pier in N. Calgary.
Went here with family and I have to say their fish and chips were the best I have had in my entire life. Perfectly battered, good meaty pieces. The fries were perfectly cooked as well. Wife got the clam chowder and loved it. Will be coming back here for sure!!
Was craving Fish and Chips the other night, did some Googling and came across this place. It is such a cozy environment right off the road. Unfortunately, it does not seem too busy for in-person dining with everything going on. But wow, I ordered the three piece Cod Fish meal and I am thoroughly impressed.
