True World Foods-Calgary

I tried their onigiri for lunch one day and I have been back 3 times since then. They sell out of the salmon onigiri quickly but their other flavours are really good. Lots of filling, flavourful, and fresh.

We came here for fresh Onigiri and left with a few, plus a bunch of other goodies! Plan to stop in sometime!

Cute and crowded little store. Has a lot of Japanese food items that nobody else in the city had.

This is such a cool little place, I'm happy to live in an area very close to this little Japanese shop. For those of you who enjoy Japanese snacks, foods, dried goods, teas, drinks, and more this small local shop is a great place to go. Especially if you live in the NE/NW. Every other A-Mart or K-Mart I know is literally in the SW, which is a pretty far trip.

BEST ONIGIRI IN THE CITY! $3 per onigiri and there is so much filling. You have to come when they open, otherwise they will be sold out.

Amazing selection of Japanese snacks and candies. Mayu is so helpful and kind and helped me find the best candy for my travels. Will come back for sure!
