The salad I ordered was the Sunday Salad with prawns. It was adequate but uninteresting. The prawns with linguine which my guest ordered looked much better and evidently was enjoyed. The dessert, the olive oil cake, which we shared, was splendid. The Americano coffee was also excellent.
Food was exceptional and tasty. Pasta portions were a bit shy. Sunday salad was a great sharing size. Room Acoustics are poor, making it seem noisy.
A birthday dinner with the girls . Everything we ordered was fabulous ! The Artic Char was simply the best I'd had . The wait staff were friendly , prompt & dressed up our desserts with sparklers for the birthday girl .
Appetizers were pretty good. The Veal Bolognese was awful, not emulsified to the pasta whatsoever, portion was small. Lacked any flavour. Felt more in line with an entree at a mall food court. Service was pretty average, our reservation was for 7pm on a Sunday and definitely got the vibe that it was the end of a long weekend for them. I've eaten at the other restaurant Purleau many times and had great meals, but probably won't ever return to Trullo
Overall very enjoyable. Delicious fresh pasta, with lamb and another with shrimp. Perfect setting for a casual and intimate meal. We look forward to our next visit!
It took a while to get our order(tbh we were pretty hungry when we got there and it was pretty busy too), but the food was very good, delicious. Will definitely go back at some point.
The food was delicious. Our waiter attentive. Ambiance was good. The service was a little slow. Overall an enjoyable evening.
Beautiful space inside and out. For the pricing of main meals, we did expect a bit better quality of meals. We tried 2 specials (chicken parm) a fish dish and a margarita pizza. Pizza crust isn't made in house, pasta seemed almost store bought. Not bad- but definitely not an authentic Italian spot. Was a bit surprised to see the charge for table bread (more of a pizza crust flat bread cut into wedges). Was nice to try something new and cute spot but likely won't back personally!
Excellent Taste on appetizer, entree's and deserts. Great service with friendly staff. Good value with matched ambiance.
Good food. Good ambiance. Reasonable selections. Ask for daily specials. Pleasant surprises. Job well done.

Always a pleasure dining here! I'm looking forward to a cappuccino on the patio when the weather gets better!
Always a nice place to eat... just around the corner from our home. Good food! Love the burrata combinations used throughout the year!
Hidden gem! Excellent experience, fabulous Italian food! We will definitely be back. Great neighborhood restaurant.
We dined at the restaurant on May 2, 2025 and had a lovely meal. The wait staff was attentive and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out.
We went to this restaurant on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. I had the fish, my husband the beef and both were delicious. The starter salad was generous enough to share, which we did. We had Tiramisu for dessert but the Olive Oil cake looked equally good. We would go here again. Service was also swift and attentive.
