I was looking forward to enjoying a comforting Thai noodle dish, but my experience at Took Took Thai on 17 Ave fell short of expectations. The staff or the boss here was really nice, The pad thai has a slightly sour taste, but it was sooooo fantastic for me.🫶🏻🫶🏻 I was a little sorry to visit them during their lunch break, but he was so kind to me that I was grateful.

We're from out of town a d picked Tuk Tuk Thai because it was close to the hotel. We ordered Thai Green Curry and Tom Kha soup. The Tom Kha was oily, and tasteless...and def no coconut milk judging by how watery it was.The veggies consisted of sliced mushrooms and green onions, and cilantro. Had 2 bites and tossed it. Super disappointed. My husband's curry was also quite bland . Surprised to see 5 stars for this place...Sorry, but I have to say don't waste your money here!

Poor food quality. My son had the beef noodle soup and the beef tasted bad and he had diarrhea after eating there. My sister’s soup tasted like water. Will not visit again.

Vegetarian options: There are some good Veggie options! Worth considering the Candied Cauliflower!
I don’t know if I should be annoyed or grateful. Found this lovely piece of human hair in my lunch, before I started eating it but ended up throwing the whole thing away because that’s effin disgusting. I am annoyed because I paid almost $30 for this meal and now I have to wait 5 to 15 days to receive my refund because one person couldn’t be bothered to do their job. I highly recommend nobody eats at this particular location or any other tuk tuk in the city because they cannot be bothered to practice health and safety standards.

I ordered takeout for 9pm but later called them to tell them I was running late just to let them know I wasn’t abandoning the order since I hadn’t paid yet. When I arrived at 9:20 they told me they were making a fresh one for me! They did not have to do that! Such kind people.
