I really want to love this place. There are limited decent breakfast places in this neighborhood, and I prefer to support local. While the servers are always nice, it’s the little things - like not having to ask for so many extras that should be provided, or offered (ie. hot sauce, syrup), the sticky ketchup bottles, and the food that I would describe as “fine”, definitely not something I would go out of my way for. With a little more attention to detail, and some passionate cooking, this place could be great. One more positive, is the prices are reasonable. Which does keep us coming back from time to time.
First things first: it is not Tutti Frutti anymore. They told me they left the franchise. That being said, l had a bit of a hard time to find it, once there is no name. The menu is very similar and the food was very tasty. Excellent service and fair price. I could eat there again many more times. Great experience!
We've tried here about 7 times within the last year and a bit. The first two times a bit over a year ago was great, the food easy tasty and the manager was lovely. We decided to bring our friends to this hidden gem and almost every time we brought a friend something went array. The following times were really hit and miss between food quality, and service quality, sometimes both. Today it looks like they currently have a new menu, I got the blueberry crunch fusion and the "English style cream" that came on it, was so hopelessly curdled it looked like scrambled eggs. My companions food was okay, not great. The owner came and talked to us which was super nice, and they did credit it my bill. Which was super nice. Overall super inconsistent with 4/7 times, and we probably won't be back. But feel free to give it a try yourself!
I would give this place negative stars for my review if I could. My husband and I pulled up yesterday hoping to have a nice brunch. As we pulled up we saw the owner or manager screaming at an employee at the front door. We have been here before and we know this is the owner or manager and we recognize the girl he was yelling at as an employee. There is absolutely NO REASON any employee should treat their staff like this. We sat in our car for nearly 5 minutes and watched him wave his arms and scream at her right by the front door. This is workplace harassment and I hope that employee files a complaint! Needless to say we decided to take out business elsewhere. I strongly suggest everybody else do the same. We should t be supporting a company that treats their staff like this and makes it uncomfortable to enter the establishment. Boycott this place until they treat their staff like human beings. And if the girl who was being yelled at is reading this, I’m sorry. You should never be subjected to that behaviour by an employer. I hope you quit and move on to better things.
Worse breakfast place. We were here a week ago and we had a server named Della. The place was not busy (3 other tables including us); however her service was extremely slow. It took her 20 minutes to get us drinks and that was after we ordered and waited 15 mins before hand. The food was okay at this time.Fast forward to Mother’s Day weekend. Yes it was extremely busy, thus I don’t expect fast service. We got the same server again. While waiting I watched her grab the coffee pot to refill coffee, take another tables order and bring drinks to the same table. Anyways… once we ordered, she did not specify the menu has changed. I usually order something that comes with toast; however they state all combos no longer come with toast for the same price. I feel like they should have been up front about this to begin with but they told us after they brought our order to us. So we had to order it after the fact with an extra charge.
A very enjoyable experience. The decor is very simple, however the wait staff made the entire atmosphere. Lea was very friendly and funny.Four of us visited for our monthly get together. We never felt rushed and we all enjoyed.A bonus was very reasonable prices and good portion sizes.Thank you we will be back.
We got the best waitress ever. She said it was her first day but you couldn't tell. The kid's breakfasts are so yummy and lots of food, even a drink. I got the Nutella crepe and its was so delish. The only thing I would have liked is that it would had been cleaner. The water pitcher seemed dirty and I had to get a spoon changed as it seemed dirty too.Lots of yummy options for brunch.
Unfortunately 3 of us had an absolutely awful experience at the McLeod Tr location today. We arrived at 11. A friend was already seated drinking coffee…..we 2 waited aprox 15 mins before we were even acknowledged. Finally got coffee after another 10-15 min wait. Asked for a napkin (tippy table that spilled coffee)….finally went & got napkins myself about 10 mins later. I mentioned the horrible service & was told they were 1 server short. Finally ordered from a very sullen server. We all ordered the same meal …French toast sandwich with fruit, egg easy over. Suffice to say none of us could eat the horrible meal & no one could explain why the French toast was raw inside..(ie…not toasted). One person said the meal had changed & she thought it was the new menu we got. Eggs were hard. Fruit was really good though. Server had said we could eat the fruit if we wanted but wouldn’t charge for the French toast. Forever later, after waiting & waiting for our coffee bill we finally got up & put our coats on to get server to acknowledge us….she gave a thumbs up from across the restaurant…so we left.Disappointed & really hope management reads reviews.Positive…I have been here 4 times previously and had a great omelette each time.Perhaps this is a one-off but because of how awful it was…unsure if I personally will ever return. 1 person said never again. The other also undecided as it was her 1st time.
Terrible service, waited nearly 40 minutes for our order to be taken, only for the server to be extremely unapologetic and rude about the brutal wait time. When the food finally came nearly an hour after we first sat down, most of it was cold and didn’t taste very well. We saw half a dozen tables get seated and served in reasonable times while we were waiting and outright ignored. Upon addressing the server for her mistake, she could not even own up to her mistake and instead lied to us, and gave a small discount on the bill. She said she was short staffed but that was clearly not the case at all, it wasn’t even busy, and others had a much better experience. Do not recommend.
Just had breakfast with my friend here. Was very pleased with the service from Yamini and Jenny (not sure if I spelt those right). Both were a delight to talk to and were so cheerful despite the restaurant being busy. I can’t wait to come back to see them again and enjoy their great service :)

I love to support local businesses in a positive manner but this review hopefully gets the attention of the kitchen and management. Maybe we visited on an off day, Jan 10, but the food was less than awful (potatoes were ok). The crepe tasted like cooked flour in old oil with zero taste or sight of ingredients that were supposed to be inside of it. The omelette was way overcooked and originally didn't even come with any cheese (I had to request for some cheese to be added which I found strange). When we told the waitress, she didn't know what to say so we just decided to leave and go elsewhere to enjoy our breakfast. Not even a discount on the bill was offered or anything to entice us to come revisit to give a second chance.
The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The servers were super respectful and down to earth. The portions were huge and the service was great. We barely had to wait 5 minutes to get our food.
Slow service. Terrible food. We were never offered coffee or something to drink besides the water that was brought to us. There was no quality check after our meals had been brought out.I ordered the eggs benedict - I am pregnant so I asked for my eggs hard. The eggs were SO runny they literally drowned my plate with runny, uncooked white and yolk. My friend ordered french toast and it came out with no butter or syrup...she had to ask for it. Nobody came around to check on us or see how the food was.Usually I like to give a restaurant a chance to make things right if the food isn't done properly, but when nobody comes to check....its impossible to do that.Overall a terrible experience. Will not be going back.
We always go there once a month for a great breakfast and great service
A bit of a disappointing experience this time around. Service was slow as they were really busy and a bit overwhelmed, Order was incorrect and just not amazing as a result. The manager was excellent though. I absolutely will come back and try again on a more normal day as the menu is really cool and I think today was just an off day for them.
