One of the waitresses, who is younger compared to the others and has short hair, has an extremely bad attitude. When my friends and I went upstairs to the front desk, nobody acknowledged us at first. Then, when we saw this waitress passing by, we told her there were three of us. We asked whether we should sit in the hall on the left or the right, but she just stared at us, shrugged her shoulders, and immediately walked away to answer a phone call. Nobody else paid any attention to us either.

This is not the first time—it’s always this same waitress with such a terrible attitude. We are customers coming to eat, but she treats us as if we owed her money. They don’t even deserve a single cent of tip. Honestly, if there were other options available at night, I would never recommend this place at all. There is absolutely no service, yet they still expect a big tip. It’s laughable.

This was the worst restaurant I’ve been to in terms of customer service. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us poorly—frowns from the start, didn’t give us the menu, one of the staff literally turned her back on me while I was still speaking to her just because I was asking her to repeat a word I could hardly understand (her name is CARMEN), and only attempted to be polite when it was time to bring the bill. We were also pressured to leave a fixed percentage tip instead of being allowed to choose a custom amount, which felt very unfair. Throughout the meal, the staff kept speaking in their own language while making it clear through their attitude that we were being treated badly. I am extremely upset as I brought guests that are visiting from abroad. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this place!

I’ve always loved the atmosphere here, especially since the renovations it’s beautiful and inviting. The service is usually attentive and friendly, though if you come right after the club expect to wait a little longer.

Unfortunately, the food quality has noticeably gone downhill. Many of the dishes have become overly salty so much that it doesn’t feel enjoyable anymore. They used to be delicious and full of flavor, but now it’s overwhelming and not the same.

On top of being charged extra for container and bag is a bit much.

I really hope they bring back the balance and quality they once had.

U & Me is a great spot for late-night Chinese food in downtown Calgary (went there around 1am after th Stampede). The duck was flavorful and reasonably priced, and the dumplings were fresh and tasty. We also loved the chicken egg soup 😋comforting and well-seasoned!

Only downside: we were charged for the tea without being informed, even though we didn’t ask for or drink it. It would be better if that was optional or at least clarified upfront.

Overall, a solid experience—good food, generous portions, and fast service (even late at night). Just be mindful of the tea charge!

Family came here after a full day at Stampede. It's one of the few places that is still open after 9pm which was a good thing as the family was famished. We had walked from the Stampede grounds to this restaurant.

The restaurant is in the heart of Chinatown and on an upper floor. The place was bustling on this day and the decor was very nice. We were seated promptly.

Family really enjoyed the food. The menu is quite extensive and they even have some dim sum dishes that you can still order late night which the family loved. We had the Crab Meat Fish Maw Soup (one of the kids favourites) and it did not disappoint. We also got Egg plan Salted fish, BBQ pork, Har Gow, Siu Mai, and Sticky rice. All the food was great - came out hot and tasty.

We couldn't eat all the food and so had to get a togo container which costs $0.25 each.

Service was good on this day although the place was busy. We definitely will come back if we have a late night craving.

Great food, great prices, great atmosphere. I am not sure if they recently got review bombed with all the 1 stars, but I don't think they deserve their current star rating of 3.8. The restaurant was packed when we were there and nobody seemed to have a problem with service. You pay at the counter upon finishing.
