I ordered sushi-burger and party plate for almost $100 and was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. Everything was so tasteless. Sushi burger has tomato inside and no sauce, so you taste only watery sour cream cheese(because of tomato) and cucumber. Party plate has 4 “different” rolls but they all the same. Cream cheese and cucumber and that’s all. Roll with avocado and sesame seeds too dry to eat. Philadelphia light contains only stupid sour unappetizing cream cheese. So basically i ordered ton of not the best cream cheese for $100. Btw I just threw everything in the garbage and will never order again

This was probably the best sushi I had in Calgary. It's best to order ahead online, but I didn't have to wait long when I ordered on the spot. A nice bonus is that if you come pick it up yourself, you'll get a 10% discount. Highly recommended.

This isn’t my first time ordering sushi from UkrRoll. The taste is great, although lately, I’ve noticed that some rolls have significantly more cream cheese than other ingredients. Overall, I have no complaints about the taste or the quality of the products. However, when I pay for express delivery, I expect my order to arrive faster. But it was delivered as if it were standard. I know it’s not the restaurant’s fault, but it’s still a frustrating situation.

We were excited to try the Eastern European style of rolls as we often had them in our hometown. The rolls were well sized, but the amount of cream cheese took over and was overpowering. Maybe we will try them again in the future, but it was not a wow experience.

I’m really happy that UkrRoll is here in Calgary, offering authentic Ukrainian-style sushi. It’s a bit different from traditional Japanese sushi, but it has its own unique charm.
These rolls are more like fast-food sushi: made with cream cheese and simple, familiar flavors. They don’t try to be “Japanese,” and that’s what makes them so special. It’s the kind of sushi that reminds me of home, and I absolutely love it!
I highly recommend it to anyone who misses Ukrainian food or just wants to try something different.

I can't attest to their service or atmosphere as we ordered delivery.... Maybe it's a Ukranian thing but this is a far stretch from Japanese rolls. Why can't restaurants stick with what it should actually be.... This is beyond any sort of fusion sushi roll.
What.... in the WORLD... Is with all the CREAM CHEESE!? It's all I can taste. The last photo.. processed cheese? Really?🤮
