UNA pizza + wine - Broadcast

Glad to see the tiki pizza is back with the jalapeño oil. Not happy that the local pizza had no sauce and had to pay $3 for sauce. Pizzas came out cold. Still good.

We visited Una Pizza + Wine in West Calgary last Friday. It was crowded, but with our reservation we were seated quickly. The service was fast and friendly, as always. The food was decent, though we've noticed the overall quality has dipped a bit since last summer. The pasta was a bit saltier than needed, and the dates with prosciutto were dry and chewy. Still, it's a lively spot with a good atmosphere and consistently great service.

Service was really good, the pizza I ordered was the best pizza I've ever had. I have ordered the Quattro pizza many times but this time was better than all the other ones. Food came out promptly, the salad was really good also, only small complaint is that the water was a little warm, would have liked ice water. Great overall!

I have been here numerous times and have always been completely happy with our menu choices. The seating is fairly dense and it can be quite noisy. However, the food makes up for it.

Pizzas are tiny and expensive. 3 little baby pizzas for $100 is insane

We’ve been eating at UNA since the very first location opened and have loved it ever since. Now that we live near the Broadcast location, we’re so happy to have one close to home. The food is always great, and the quality is consistent.

Our long-time favourite is the Tiki, though we miss the original version with the jalapeño relish instead of just sliced jalapeños. Not sure if it was a cost-saving change, but it definitely had a little extra magic before.

I’ve recently developed a gluten intolerance (not celiac), and the gluten-friendly crust here is one of the best I’ve tried. Great texture, great taste, and doesn’t feel like a compromise.

And of course, the glazed dates. Omg. Always perfection.

Our group said we were celebrating a birthday when we made the reservation, and the staff had a signed card ready for our arrival!

I went in for dinner with my girlfriend. Our server Nada made our night. She was attentive, gave us great recommendations, and knew which points we were in serious dialogue. Thank you for making it a great experience.

Had 2 reservations (one was a 12 top for a special birthday dinner) and the staff were phenomal. Helped with special requests and always available to answer questions etc) Have always loved Una for dinners but will definitely return for larger parties as well!

We ordered an appetizer and 2 pizzas. Server brought food together and stacked it up on top of each other on one of those tiny tables. There was no place for our drinks which we had to be put in our laps.

My wife and I ordered the Gnocchi Bianca on a date night Sept 18, 2025. We have lived in the area for several years, and this was one of our favorite places to eat and the gnocchi dish was one of our favorites. This time however, I'm not sure what they did to this dish, but the taste was just average and the size of the gnocchi was quite large and overly doughy. The balance between the sauce and the gnocchi was way to light with the sauce. However, even the flavor of the sauce itself was really lacking as in the past. Really disappointing. Not sure if there was a change in the dish, but I don't think I will risk ordering and paying to take that chance. When a restaurant lowers the quality of their dishes, it's time to find a different place eat.

Have had many a takeout pizza from UNA. It's our go-to. But this was our first dine-in experience. What we ordered was absolutely perfect for sharing and I just may order the same thing again: MEDJOOL DATES, TAGLIATELLE POMODORO, ZITI PIZZA (beef ragu, provolone, ricotta, spinach, grana padano, chili oil). The service was really special and friendly. Excellent night out with friends in our neighborhood. We will be back!

Happy hour is good choice. Same quality of food and drinks with half price.

Generally good pizza but doesn’t seem to have the same quality or taste as years past. A bit overpriced now given it’s not as good as it used to be. Had delivery so I know it’s not as good as fresh in the restaurant, but kind of expected a better ‘za than what we ordered.
