UNA pizza + wine Calgary: University District

Absolutely amazing!!! The best pizza of our lives, and the best restaurant dessert of our lives as well, and wonderful friendly service from Katrina, highly recommended, also wonderful location in the lovely University District, all around amazing!! ☃️

Very tasty carpaccio! The staff are accommodating with allergies and preferences. My friend doesn’t like onion and they made sure what she ordered had none in the meals☺️ Thank you for such great and polite service!

Una has always been my favourite pizza place. It’s getting pricey. Their kale salad is one of the best.

Tell me why my pasta was basically served cold the minute it came to our table. It was definitely undercooked as well, not even al dente, but tough to chew. The pizza was okay but felt overpriced for sure. Not their best location.

The food was pretty good but nothing too special. The service was lacking though. We finished our food and our servers helped the tables beside us and looked at our table but couldn’t take the hint that we were finished with our meals.

I’m not sure how this place has such a high rating because I was extremely disappointed. I got 2 pizza’s the pepperoni and sweet and Spicy prosciutto. Both pizza were undercooked, the pepperoni was somewhat warm and the pizza was floppy. The sweet and Spicy prosciutto, first off the Honey leaked through the box all over my lap, the pizza was so drenched in liquid the dough became soggy on-top of already being undercooked, the flavours were the only thing this pizza had going for it. Was extremely disappointed as it was very expensive for what we got and the reviews and pictures looked good… was not happy.

We came here at around 9pm, to our surprise they had a happy hour menu. We saved half off the bill lol;) We have been going to many other locations but tried this one for the first time. Our server was Lachlan M, he is an amazing and easy going guy, very polite and sweet. The arancini is always a 10/10 for us. I love this location plus you get the perks of hanging out at the university district!!

Came in for the first time Friday night. What a great all round experience. I would say the gentleman was the manager(I did not get his name sadly) but his warm welcome and help in getting free parking was truly great service. Our server was great, the food was amazing and all round an amazing first time at UNA. I would say the pizza base and crust was one the best we have had in Calgary. Look forward to the next visit.

Una was great a decade ago: great menu, awesome staff, solid value.

Now it is a corporate-chain shell of its former self: average food, staff stretched too thin to give good service, and very poor value.

There are many better options now, Una is the Earls of pizza in calgary

Never again !! really disappointed. We ordered via Uber Eats and specified that we did not want bacon in the gnocchi my husband still called the restaurant to tell them a second time and still I find a piece of bacon in my dish. This is not acceptable. Run 🏃

Amazing vibes, great food and service
The mushroom pizza was nothing less then amazing margarita was also delicious but I have had better margaritas. Best part was garlic bread which was a 10/10
