Starbucks in this store Save on food its absolutely horrible. Ukraine Starbucks manager and another employee name Karolina that works here are very unprofessional and unpleasant to talk to. We are not sure why working there when you are not happy. My wife and I will not be going there anymore.

I went to Save-On-Foods today to do my Thanksgiving shopping, and honestly, it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. The store was beautifully set up for the season everything felt festive and organized, and I found all the ingredients I needed without any stress. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the whole trip even better. After finishing my shopping, I stopped by the Starbucks inside the store, and that was the best part! It’s such a cozy little spot to relax after walking around I grabbed a coffee and just sat for a bit. The seating area is really nice and comfortable, and the vibe was calm and welcoming. I also noticed there were so many cute gift ideas for kids around the store toys, treats, and fun little seasonal items that would make perfect presents. It really felt like a one-stop place where you can get your groceries, have a coffee, and even pick up some gifts all in one go. Overall, I had a great time shopping here today — clean, well-stocked, friendly staff, and that amazing Starbucks spot just makes it even better. Definitely one of my favorite places to shop and unwind!

Reminds me of the higher end grocery places in Yaletown, Vancouver. It's a Great place, Great weekly deals, get the app, right across from my Gym,(Goodlife, Mount Royal). Parking can be a pain, there is underground parking, not sure how that works, I just aim for slower hours, if street parking. Awesome Deli counter, fresh meals, 🔥 hot and good to go.
The older white man with grey hair working as cashier here (13:00 Sep 30th, 2025) was very rude. When I approached, he motioned for me to come over with his hand instead of saying hello like every other cashier I’ve encountered at this store. After I paid, I politely said “I don’t need the receipt thank you”, and he just said “alright” and waved me away dismissively. At first, I thought maybe he was the manager and not trained to greet customers, so I was about to let it go. But immediately after, he turned and gave a very warm greeting to the white lady behind me. The difference in treatment was obvious and unpleasant, and it makes me wonder if this was racism.

Shopping here is a test of endurance. The store layout & checkout are dreadful. The queue weaves through the (overpriced) produce and if you dare use a shopping cart - you're blocking half the store.

Great location, selection, prices and staff. It's nice to be able to go to a grocery store downtown and not have any homeless presence. Never too busy either compared to the other grocery stores in the area. The 4 for $20 mix & match meats are a great deal as well.
