Arman helped us with our order, at first I came with my friend and because of his service I came with my husband again. The food was delicious and service was very good. I recommend for authentic food taste from Bangladesh.

Absolutely loved this place! Utsav Sweet and Restaurant offers some of the most authentic Bangladeshi food I’ve had outside of Bangladesh. The flavors were rich, the spices perfectly balanced, and the portions generous. Their biryani was flavorful and cooked to perfection, and the sweets were fresh and delicious—especially the roshogolla and Jalebi . The staff was friendly and welcoming ,and a cozy atmosphere Definitely recommend if you're craving real Bangladeshi cuisine!

Best restaurant in Calgary

Today I tried fresh Kacchi Biryani from Utsav and was thoroughly impressed. The portion of meat was generous, making each bite satisfying and hearty. The taste was rich and flavorful, with the perfect blend of spices that didn't overpower the dish. What stood out most was the tenderness of the meat—it practically melted in the mouth. Overall, it was an excellent biryani experience that I’d definitely recommend to any Kacchi lover.

Amazing owner who personally attended each guest’s table and very friendly. Authentic Bangladeshi cuisine and also serves fresh sweets (Misti). Don’t miss it if you are from Bengal (Kolkata or Dhaka)!

We were family of four today went there. We ordered some Bangladeshi foods - Kacchi Biriyani and tea (for me), Plain Rice, Beef Bhuna, Daal Fry, Alu Bharta, Egg Omlet (for wife and son), Fuchka (for daughter). All the items were DELICIOUS. Specially we liked the Egg Omlet which was exactly we make at our home regularly. Tea was awesome and refreshing. The woman who served us was very welcoming. The restaurant deserves a FIVE STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice empty place. BUT, service? Food? How can I give a negative star? Slowest sloth speed service. Food had missing key ingredients!!! Can you imagine Desi curry without salt ? Oh but, they had a sugar jar instead without a label!! Nothing else to say, you can figure out the rest.

Utsav always have authentic Bangladeshi food! The owner Maruf has put his heart in this restaurent. Try their foochka! Its the best. Their sweets are so fresh and one of a kind. The chefs here are also very caring. Sometimes they will visit your table to ask if you have enjoyed the food. Arman's service is top notch! Highly recommend.
