V Burger - 17 Ave - Ice Cream and Burger

Only available for pick up and delivery. It was a little confusing as you have to go inside a completely different restaurant called “The Sweatered Hen”. Walk to the back and order your food. It was suggested to wait outside in the patio section of the restaurant in the front, which we did. Once the food was brought to us, we just stayed and ate there. It was a warm March day and no one was eating outside. We ordered the BBQ Bac'n Cheezburger, Buffalo Chick'n Burger, which were so good!! We also got a side of Cauliflower Fritters, which I wasn’t a fan of. They didn’t have much flavour and too greasy. We finished off the meal with two shakes, Minted Oreo Shake, which wasn’t very minty and didn’t have very many Oreo’s and the Burnt Strawberry Shake, which was out of this world!! So tasty and full of chunks of sweet strawberry goodness and a perfect touch of sour.

I didn't like it at all. Neither the food nor especially the service. I ordered a delivery to work, a burger and ice cream! There were no napkins or spoons in the package to eat the ice cream, and the food came to me cold. So I really don't recommend this place.

Fantastic burger, shame it’s take out only, they should update their google page to make it clearer. They let me eat inside which was kind in their rebranded restaurant but shame cus it looked really cool before and hard to find places that do all vegetarian so you know foods safe.

Great quick spot for vegan fast food fare. They have vegan choco tacos!!!!

Just a heads up that you can only get V Burger as take out anymore. There is no dine in at any locations. Learned that from going to the 17th Ave location today, that wasn't there anymore.

The name is NOT on the sign or the door of the restaurant so you loose a lot of time looking for the right place. Also it‘s under construction or they changed the concept so you can get only delivery or take away for the V Burger stuff. You can sit and eat inside for other menues though.. ?!

Yummy vegan food definitely worth the visit! Great burgers wraps and Mediterranean bowl. Also the shake we got was a peppermint for Christmas and it was really good, quite rich though and sweet so we shared a medium but a small would have been plenty! Definitely going back!

This summer was my first time trying V Burger since they moved into a shared space with the sweatered hen. The food is still great and honestly, although the v burger side is supposed to be to go only, you can probably work something out with the employees to eat it there if you just grab some stuff off the sweatered hen menu, they also had vegan options including avocado toast and vegan cinnamon buns not to mention great coffee. Otherwise there’s always the park across the street. As for the v burger food, delicious as ever, perfect guilty pleasure vegan fast food. I’m glad they have found a way to continue to exist via their partnership with the sweatered hen. The sweatered hen employees who took my order were cool, accommodating and nice as well.

Gave 1 for atmosphere since there is take out only. Although the park across the street to eat your burger is a 5 star for ambiance. Menu has been revamped since sharing restaurant with Sweatered Hen. I always order original or classic burger with gluten free bun. Soft vanilla cone. Always consist in their food flavor and appearance. Service hadn't declined over the years. Let's keep supporting this vegan fast food joint. Ive brought friends to try and they were very surprised how flavorful a meatless burger tastes. It's the only place that I can order burger and ice cream due to gluten and dairy sensitivity. Soft cone still only $4!

Had my first ever “blizzard” style ice cream that could even go upside down! Awesome texture and the taste doesn’t lean into any alt dairy flavours which makes it so extra amazing!
