I had gone to Veranda on Friday, March 6th, in a group of 4, and once we arrived, we were seated at the bar since it was busy and there were no available tables for us (totally fine). At the bar, we were greeted by an extremely attentive bartender who took our food and drink orders, and he was amazing.
I believe it was the manager who came by and was also extremely nice and told us that once a table opens up, we can move to it (we were fine with waiting at the bar). A table eventually opened up, and we ended up moving to it, but not until we had cleared our tab with the bartender.
Once at our new table with a new server who introduced herself (with food and drinks on the way), we assumed it would be fine. One of our members ordered a Ginger Ale through her, and after waiting around 20 minutes, we had to pull a separate server aside and request it again. I also had ordered the Rose pasta with Chicken, which came out charred to a crisp and hard as a rock. I needed a steak knife to cut the uncharred pieces in the middle if I was going to eat any chicken. Once again, our server was MIA and never checked on how our meals were. She avoided us like the plague, and I do believe that it was because our table had paid for our drinks and meals, which meant she believed her tip would be lower. Coming from someone who was a server, I don’t understand that mentality because we were more than willing to purchase more drinks. Overall, disappointing at the end of our experience and unfortunate that it turned out that way because we were genuinely having a wonderful evening.

Came here for the first time and Veranda did not disappoint! The nachos were delicious- a great portion and great flavour. Our server, Daniel, was fantastic! Very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and intuitive, knowing the right time to check on us! Will definitely be back. Thanks Daniel!

Service was excellent. Everything the server recommended us was really outstanding, meaning the good was very good, well presented and gourmet style. I need to plan to come back in the summer and enjoy the outdoor patio and try the blue burger that un the menu, it sounds delicious.
Awesome meal for a good price! I am celiac and have had great gluten free experiences at this restaurant. They are very knowledgable about celiac precautions and have a gluten free fryer.
Met another couple here for dinner. Had the dill pickle wings (different, but not bad) and the hot wings (stupid hot! Ouch). We ordered the cavalry burger. It was OK, but nothing special. We were told the blackened chicken was good by one of our companions. The drinks were very good. The Old Fashioned is very interesting, and you have a choice of options with it that took it to a new level.
I took away 2 stars as the place is noisy, which I hate at a resteraunt. There was a very large group seated by us about halfway through our meal and there was no point trying to have a conversation after that.

Ordered a pizza but was disappointed to see the dough it came on was more like a cracker than homemade pizza dough. Very thin and crisp. The place was much too loud. I had made reservations a few days prior and the table that was saved for us was right by the front door. We asked for a different table, which we were given, but it was between two large parties who were quite loud. The atmosphere was cool and exciting and if I had known it was more of a bar, I probably wouldn't have gone there for dinner with my out of town guests. I'll try going there again, when I'm looking for a bar atmosphere.
This was better than Teatro! Incredible food, highly recommend the olive and feta, and the rose pasta 🍝 Chass rocked the service and Chad is a top notch manager who supports his team and is super friendly

The whipped feta starter was delicious. Lots of olives. I would have ordered a second of the pita bread.
I had the Cowboy pizza. If I get it again, I'll request less hot peppers.
Friends had the Blackened Chicken. It is delicious, juicy and tender.
I had a beer, the waitress gave me a sample of one I thought that I would like. Glad she did as it wasn't what I was expecting. Then another sample of one that I chose.

Brought a friend for the first time to the Veranda. We had a wonderful time. The veranda is one of our favorite places to dine.
Fantastic staff and service as always!!! The steak here is just as good as what you over pay for normally at a high end steak house;)

Great service :) food , drinks and ambiance, at little too hot sitting by the heaters but everything else was great and our server did move us to a cooler spot :)
Decent food but we came to have fun for new years eve, the food was cold but still tasted good, you could just tell the rice was old, the food seemed sad, even the dishes I have eaten here before were not as good as usual. We wanted to have a bunch of cocktails but the server totally gave up on us. We got a round from the bartender and then tried to get more but she left so we asked for the bill from someone else and left. Too bad because we came with money to spend as the cocktails are pricey but tasty. Went home and made my own instead.
We made a reservation for 8 with a specific request to be outside, when we arrived there was no table set aside outside. We had to sit inside for a table made at the reservation time.
3 different servers within 30 minutes said they would be helping us. Once we ordered the server indicated it would be 30-45 minutes for our food as they were backed up.
From the time we ordered food until the last plate was laid on the table, it was 1 hour and 15 minutes.
The food itself was average at best, however small portions for the price you are paying.
The server was understandably having a hard time managing tables as food is delayed in coming out, and did comp a part of the bill once we talked to them about it. Not their fault, however clear communication would have been appreciated.
The restaurant itself is clean, however seems to be packed with tables in all directions. While the music was not blaring, there are poor acoustics that lead you to have to shout to the person next to you inside.
Overall, it seems there is poor operations to seat so many people indoors and outdoors with a limited kitchen output. If you are stopping by for a quick drink it's probably worth it, but don't expect quick service for a full meal.

Really nice space. Vacay beers are well made. The service is extremely slow. Waited around 12min to have our server come back and replenish our drinks and the place was not busy. I was served a beer in a can which should be advertised on their menu. Also they serve all their beers in a 16oz glass. Would be nice for a smaller glass option.
Edit: been back a few times and things have declined. Beers are not consistent. Some have acetaldehyde, clarity issues. Would score low in a competition.
Service is extremely slow. Staff stand around on their phones.
Food is below average for the price. Had tuna which was gray colour?
Really want to enjoy this place but it’s hard to.

I'm sorry to say that those of us who ordered the brunch meals were very disappointed. The bacon was burnt, the eggs on the bennys were overcooked and the hollandaise was tasteless. The whole experience was subpar.
