Vern's is always a great time. I'd encourage everyone to come down for Ratboy Comedy on Wednesday evenings, starting at 8pm. It's an insanely good time. The vibe here is great. Keep in mind it is cash only, but there is an ATM onsite.

The owner here is a cranky old guy who is super rude. I'm obviously not the only one who's experienced this based on the reviews. It's a good place to go for shows, but the owner just ruined the whole environment for me. Also bring cash if you come here, it's cash only.

Makes the worst pizza in Calgary and charges a premium price. If you want disappointment head here. Here's the mama mia pizza I ordered. There was hardly any cheese, the toppings were undercooked, and they used a lot of no name pepperoni.

Great place to experience up and coming metal bands. Love this place, it’s a non dangerous dive. Reminds me of clubs on E Hastings in Vancouver early 70s.

Bartender's name isn't Vern, classic dive bar. A promotor needed a slot filled, and we happen to fill slots. It's a really cool atmosphere, old bar mirrors, clocks, cymbals, and stickers covering the walls!🤘
