I love Verns Pizza. I really cant reccomend a better Pizza. Only 1 left in Calgary.

WAY BETTER THAN SENIORES This pizza joint is amazing, it has a nice thick crust that isn’t greasy but also isn’t overly dry. The pizza crust is also spiced perfectly. They also do pizza by the slice, and businesses that do that, are getting more difficult to find. The atmosphere is great it has a calming quiet eating area. I will absolutely be back next time I am in memorial.

I haven’t had Vern’s pizza for years. Use to get it from the gas station for lunch all the time and it was amazing. I had a piece yesterday and it was really soggy literally couldn’t even pick it up without loosing all toppings. I ended up throwing it out. Worst pizza ever. If I could give it no stars I would have.

We were in Calgary for the day. And my husband and I recall that they had Vern pizza! Of course we knew exactly what we wanted (MOMA MIA)!!! This is akin to your typical house pizza BUT it is 5 POUNDS OF HEAVEN!!
You can only order 15/18 inch due to the amount of toppings and YES THERE IS A LOT!! (see pictures I posted). My husband and I really like their sauce it is a little sweet not overly. When we placed the order we knew it was going to take longer than normal for it to be delivered (40 min, just to cook.)
The guy over the phone was pleasant and even asked if we could use plates forks etc BONUS!! Yes when we got our food within an hour of calling (15 min drive) they remembered the plates etc we had said yes too. It has been a few years since we have had Vern 😞.
But this place in Calgary never left us down! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND trying this pizza (MOMA MIA) for anyone who is really hungry or loves house pizza. Very filling pizza and worth the cost hand down! When the delivery guy came he was professional and friendly.

This pizza was born and raised in Saskatoon, my hometown might make me partial but I love this pizza! Double double and T-Rex are my go-to. If you like meat and cheese this is the pie for you!

This the first time ordering from Verns pizza in a very long time. Verns did not disappoint!! Our pizza was perfect! This is my husband's first time ordering from Verns and he was really impressed. We will definitely order again.

I have always liked Verns Pizza. You need to understand that it is Saskatchewan Pizza, which is a class of its own. If you like thin crust or $4.99 pizza, you nay not like Verns. However, if you want to fill up with just 1 or 2 slices, then Verns is for you. Verns is more expensive than most, but you don't need a large pizza to fill you up. I can only eat 2 slices since it is loaded with toppings.

Change your store hours or at least stay open when you say you are.

We used to order the double double from the Millrise location all the time, which was a 5/5, loaded meat, cheese, sauce. They sadly must have closed, so we decided to try this location after craving Vern’s for the last 5 weeks. While the pizza was still delicious, it was thin and had next to no sauce! Suggest letting them know when you order that you actually want all the things they say it comes with.
