Verona Pizza is Calgary’s best! We recently had the pleasure of serving our guests Verona Pizza. Almost everyone asked where the pizza was from, and commented on how good it was! The slices are very generous sizes and the cheese and toppings were all so delish! We will definitely be ordering again!

I’ll start by saying the pizza itself was very good, price is high but that’s beside the point.
My issue is with the lady at the front…
I physically came right at 11AM when they opened to order 2x 13 inch pizzas for a team work lunch. I asked the lady at the front if it was possible, I was reasonable enough to understand that it might not be since the lunch rush would start soon.
The lady asked the kitchen/back, she said it’d take 30mins. Great, ordered a pepperoni and vegetarian (coworkers with dietary restrictions).
I comeback after 30-40mins to pick up, and the lady made a big fuss about me ordering 2x 13 inch pizzas. I literally asked if it’s possible before ordering, if not I’d have gone somewhere else.
I leave after getting the pizzas, but I didn’t check until I got back to my office and they gave me a pepperoni + hawaiian (ham). Hawaiian is cool, but I needed veggie for my vegetarian coworkers.
Would it have changed if I checked right as they passed it to me? Too late anyways since I’d have to wait another 30 for them to remake the correct one.
If you think you’re gonna stress out your kitchen, just say no… You have every right to say no, but don’t say yes and make a customer feel bad after the fact.
Charge on my credit card to prove I did in fact come here.

I have been using Verona‘s for CATERING for many years. Their food is so amazing but the best part is the people that make it. They are incredible people to deal with so kind so if you’re thinking about ordering pizza or lasagna or whatever your needs are please go to Verona‘s cause they’re incredible food and the service is excellent!!! Very bad service. They pack 1 or 2 slice pizza on a plate. The lady says bix is for 3 slices and above. Pizza was over cooked.

Calgary's Premier Pizza spot in Bow Valley Square! Lasagna with meat sauce is great! They also cater and will make basically any dish you request. Highly recommend them. Owners are fantastic!

The pizza is OK, but the staff need to be friendly. The woman behind the counter makes the atmosphere feel like I was bothering her, the fella at the other end couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone. I wanted to take a whole one home, but I probley would've got cussed out,so I opted for Tim Hortons pizza. Next time I'll try the place in Td Square .

I asked for a whole pizza, but I had to wait 35 minutes for it to be made and eaten, plus my mom did not like it either.

Ok so I’ve tried a lot of pizza and pasta in my day but WOW! I stumbled on this little jewel of a pizza joint and was I ever happy I did! I was greeted by the owner George who walked me through the menu. I was feeling pizza but he told me about pasta and how that it is homemade and made fresh daily. His father makes the sauce and meatballs by hand! Secret family recipe I was told! Typically pasta at a pizza joint is quite basic but I took a chance! I ordered a small pizza and a lasagna. I ate a piece of pizza in the car on the way home because it smelled so good! Then got home and tried the pasta. It was so delicious. They don’t skimp on the ingredients. You can tell it’s made with love! The layers of cheese and meat and love was amazing. The portion sizes are big enough that I had enough to enjoy for lunch the next day. I’m big about supporting family owned businesses and wow was I impressed. While I was waiting , me and the owner George had a chat about hockey. This place actually caters for the NHL! If you are looking for amazing homemade pizza and pasta, you HAVE to try Verona’s pizza. You will be happy you did!

This is one of thee best pizza places in Calgary! Hate to say it but it's unfortunate the hours are limited to 4/ 5 days a week. Really wish they had a stand alone location outside of the core.. I'd buy at least once a week, it's this delicious. Please consider opening up a stand alone location, I trust it'll be just as busy if not more.
