This places food was OK but the service was not good at all. The server didn't tell us that drinks were self serve so we had drinks halfway through the meal. There was some dust or hair on the pizza which was disgusting. We asked for cups with ice for the drinks but the waitress gave us water instead of what I asked for. Then when we told her, she just gave us one ice cup[we needed 4 ]

We hadn’t been to Cibo (130th location) in 4 years and decided to stop in with our 10 year old son who eats gluten free. There was no kids menu on the menu boards so we spent 5 minutes with the girl at the front deciding what to get our son.
We decided on the pasta and a juice box for him.
As we sat down we saw 4 kids eating what looked like a kids meal and going to choose their gelato.
I went back and asked about kids meals and the same cashier said oh yeah, we do have kids meals. I asked why she didn’t offer that to us when we were debating/discussing in depth with her what to get and she said she forgot.
So instead of getting a pasta, side dish, drink and gelato for 1/2 the price we paid (aka a kids meal), we got an adult pasta and juice box. $50 for this and another adult meal plus tip.
She came to say sorry, after we got our food and said she’d ask the kitchen if he could get the kids gelato complimentary and she came back and said they said no! They said it costs too much !
Not sure why I tipped at this place when the service ended up being terrible and a small gesture to fix poor service could have been rectified but wasn’t.
Get it together and let people know you have kids meals. Instead we paid double and got less overall value.
We won’t be back as any good business owner knows that great service keeps customers returning and making simple accommodations isn’t hard, especially when we’re talking giving a kid a small scoop of ice cream that he already paid for with an over priced adult meal and drink!
Update: another staff from the kitchen came to ask how the meal was, I told him the story and he said, I should have asked if they had a kids meals! And that he’s seen me here before and now I’m going to argue?! What?! I haven’t been here in maybe 4 years (and won’t be back). I explained how buying an adult meal would more than paid for a kids scoop of gelato. His reply could have been an apology. Sad when kids get to see poor service and behaviour from unprofessional staff. $50 for 2 meals and 1 juice box is a rip off. We usually go to costa vida a few doors down and in 3 years of going there weekly we’ve never had an issue.

The food is really good and I truly enjoyed the pesto pasta! Their garlic bread and cheese was very delicious, warm and doughy! Service was sweet, polite and helpful! Enjoyed the experience very month!
