I am impressed with this place. Their "soups" are really good at Cdn$10 per bowl. Can not beat them anywhere in Calgary so literally 5 gold stars. Flavour is really tasty -- so another 5 gold stars. The atmosphere is large, open, active, comforatble and easy to get to, so again another 5 gold stars. Service staff today was really good - explained the specials, delivered "hot food" and stopped by to check up on is -- great service with a smile. Highly recommend

Loung Viet has such a good vibe, warm, welcoming, and friendly staff. The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Great place to chill and enjoy a meal. Definitely coming back!
And open till 4AM thats the best part.

I came on the weekend and tried a Bun Bo Hue. It was pretty good, with nice flavor, good amount of meat. Compared to other restaurants I tried in Calgary, this is has more flavor and it was a nice experience. Normally the price is $17 but this time it was on sale ($10) which is awesome. I recommend the soup.
On the downside, the spring roll I ordered was expensive (2 for $8.5) and lacked flavor (vermicelli, lettuce and shrimp). Having herbs and pickles would have been...
