The place is overrated, Not as expected.. Pastas not al dente and the tortellini alla panna my wife ordered was not creamy at all and it seemed and tasted more like the frozen tortellini you buy at the store.

Our most recent visit was a wonderful lunch! The chef out performed even my high standards and delivered multiple courses which were amazing! The owner and her staff are gracious and accommodating . For wonderful authentic Italian food, there is no better restaurant in Calgary! The wines were unctuous and left you wanting more ! Thank you for a truly memorable experience

Our food was fabulous! The best I have had out of Italy. The menu is extensive. The service is excellent. The formally set table looked excellent. We three were crowded at a table for four. Tables are too close together and we asked to be moved. Upstairs washroom is marginal. Would we return ? YES. The FOOD THE FOOD !!

Food was good. Portabello mushroom appy was delicious. Gluten free option was available. Server was a little too talkative-kind of made it awkward with the F-bomb lol

One of our favourite restaurants disappointed us this time. Our appetizer order was messed up. One order to share with 3 people instead of the three orders we wanted. Then the main meal was also wrong. Two people ordered lamb but we received one lamb and one steak. The rib eye we got was very thin and deeply charred on the outside. Our guest was a friend who we had been bragging up villa firenze to for a few years and the we got a very disappointing evening.
