My favourite brewery in Calgary, hands down! I've had nothing but great times and service here! We've had the pleasure of being served by Missy and Tiffany a few times, always so extremely friendly and helpful! All of the staff are so welcoming and easy going. Village has the most delicious drinks and the food is great! I love that the patio is pet friendly.
I always look forward to coming back! 🍻
Village is the best and did a lunch for me and my Friends from the food bank and the service, Beers and Food was excellent

Great little pub. Was there for a very special event so was upstairs. Great view of the workings of the brewery. Beer was excellent, staff was wonderful and attentive. Not a usual spot but worth the trip
Came for a longtime friends celebratory Event in the upstairs room. Amazing food and cider is phenomenal but the service lacked. I personally believe that customer service is much more impactful on one’s experience at a restaurant/bar than the food and drinks could be. I was greeted very enthusiastically by the male server who offered me the cider options but told him i’d come back after I got settled upstairs. When I came back, the female staff member was the only one near. When I had Asked her for the menu she looked as if we truly inconvenienced her. When it came to ordering drinks and food My friend and I felt the same way again. There was not a single smile or any indication of friendly service. I Felt all of my service requests From her were incredibly considerable for this being an sit down dining but I wasn’t met with satisfactions
Their tropical cider is my new obsession 🤤
Attended a function here really liked the atmosphere
Really great happy hour deals 6 to 8pm. Their Oktoberfest beer was amazing. Really high quality food, way better than a typical brewery
Good food. Good drinks. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.
Delicious beer.
Village is one of the top breweries in Calgary—maybe even in Canada. I’ve visited breweries all across the country, and Village is still one of my favourites. They don’t just have fantastic beer; the food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. The staff always make sure you’re having a great time and they are on the ball. You can tell they have a great culture from top down.
What really sets Village apart is their lineup. They’ve got all the staples—lagers, pilsners, stouts, ambers—you name it, along with their flagship “The Blacksmith” Dark Ale. To me, that’s what a real brewery should be about: brewing high-quality classics that earn them the right to experiment.
I’m a traditional beer drinker, unapologetically. I’ve never had a taste for the fruity sours, banana-bread ales, or pumpkin-spiced concoctions. To me, beer should taste like beer. If you want peach or raspberry, grab a cider or a cocktail. That being said, I still try the new things, even if they’re not for me, and I respect that Village experiments while always keeping their core lineup solid.
At the end of the day, Village delivers across the board: great beer, great food, great atmosphere. For me, it’s an easy 10/10

Really liked the atmosphere, great service and lots of beers to try on tap. Good menu for a brewery, wife loved her B.E.L.T.!
Disgusting, my friends and I were racially profiled by manager when we entered the parking lot, we were made to feel like we were not welcome, when we actually wanted to support their business. They explained they get a lot of vagrants from the food bank across the street, as if that would smooth things over....manager took one look at us and started interrogating us, like we didn't belong in their village. Organization is 99% white people, says a lot about the culture. Don't let the village marketing ploy fool you, it is not a Village if people are made to feel unwelcome. Products are overpriced over hyped fake hipster beer anyways, never again.
To be fair I gave them 2 stars, the founder Jim was a good man, rest in peace.
Great selection of beer, including ciders. What I especially like is the wide choice of menu items - some other breweries have very limited food options.
Great brewery,
Highly recommend walking down and grabbing a couple!
