Not a huge selection but good taste. Friendly staff. Small and crowded inside - this also speaks of how good the taste is though.
Each time I visit Calgary it is an absolute must to have Village Ice Cream. I have travelled to places like San Fransisco, Chicago, LA, NYC, Portland and had some amazing food and phenomenal desserts including Ice Cream. Village Ice Cream is one of the best places to eat Ice Cream. My favourite flavour when they have it is Dunkaroos, among several other flavours. It’s phenomenal
The female worker flirted with my girlfriend. The ice cream was amazing though.
Village Ice Cream in Britannia is a tiny easily missed ice cream shoppe for all ages and palates. They even have vegan flavours! I skipped the single flavour waffle cone and jumped right to the sundae, complete with vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, pecans, chocolate sauce and cherries on top!
Today was a special day as $1 of every treat went to charity. See the photo I posted and check out the QR code for more details. A wonderful experience with tons of kids and families all making new experiences!
Always so busy but the staff are always friendly and great with our kids!
They also have vegan options!
Average lane is about 30 mins. Icecream is ok though

Their strawberry ice cream was awesome on a hot day, especially when it's served in a waffle cone that's just seconds old! Friendly & efficient staff.

I can't count how many times I've visited Village ice cream during my trip to Calgary. Yes, it's that good. Love their unique flavors that I normally can't find in Europe.
We visited during peak of summer (August) and in most nights there were lots of mosquitoes. Recommend bringing bug spray.
