Been to this location plenty of times. This is absolutely my favorite ice cream shop in Calgary. Their ice cream is so creamy and delicious. My favorite regular flavors are Strawberry, Guide’s Mint, and Earl Grey. I usually come at least once a month because their seasonal flavors are great as well. Right now, the Ferrero Rocher flavor is living in my mind rent-free :’)

The staff are always friendly and helpful and they let you sample other flavors. It can get pretty busy on weekends especially in the evenings. The place itself is quite small so it can get crowded. There is a bathroom and a water station. However, it is clean and well-maintained. Parking in the plaza is decent.

Definitely recommend Village to everyone! Will be back soon :p

I am writing to share my recent experience at Village Ice Cream on October 20th, around 4:45 PM. My family and I have always enjoyed visiting your shop for its variety of flavors and friendly service, which has made it our top choice for ice cream. However, during this visit, the experience was disappointing.

There were three male employees working at the time, and unfortunately, none of them greeted us or smiled. One of the employees was eating his own ice cream while standing at the counter, which caused a delay in placing my order. When he finished, he looked at me as though I had interrupted him, making the interaction uncomfortable. This kind of service felt quite out of place given the positive experiences we’ve had in the past.

I understand that everyone can have an off day, but I wanted to bring this to your attention, as this type of service could affect your business’s reputation. I’m hoping this feedback helps maintain the high standard of service that we’re used to at Village Ice Cream.
Btw, I regret I want my tips back , they don’t deserve!

The village ice cream consistency is unmatched, like properly unmatched. Anytime we are away from Calgary on travels we constantly get disappointed trying to fill the ice cream void at other ice cream shops but non-come close. My go to: try adding chocolate fudge to almost any flavour for level expert

The shop’s ambiance was inviting and stylish, with modern decor that featured warm tones and a welcoming atmosphere.

The staff were enthusiastic and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring that every detail of my order was perfect. They even provided samples to help with flavour selection, which was a nice touch.

The Vanilla Bean and Salted Caramel Ice cream was just impressive.

It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a truly memorable ice cream experience.
