Food was mediocre. Nothing bad about it, but nothing special either, it was simply ok. Server was friendly enough, however we were never asked how everything was or offered a drink refill. Ambience is rather worn and in need of repairs. Glad we tried it, but wouldn't return.

Always love this vin room in the front or upstairs. Near the kitchen a bit brighter not my favourite spot. Service is great and food is good too. They're able to make a few adjustments for gluten-free for sure which is always great.

I had booked a regular dining table to have dinner with my sisters. We were placed in the bar unfortunately and it was so loud we could hardly hear each other. I commented to our waiter that we had requested a dining room table but he said those tables were booked up. The food was very good but an overall disappointing experience.

We hosted our wedding reception at Vin Room Mission in September, if you're planning a similar event, I highly recommend giving these folks a serious look.
From start to finish, our reception was a total success. Guests are still reaching out to tell us how incredible the space and food were.
We chose passed canapés to start, a buffet for the main course, and light bites for dessert. Some crowd favorites included the duck wings, crab cakes, bacon-wrapped sausages, tempura sweet potatoes, risotto, prime rib, swan cream puffs, and the chocolate mousse spoons.
The wine and cocktail bar at Vin Room was an obvious standout as well. I frequently saw our guests being captivated by the bartenders' impressive flourishes and shaker routines.
Additionally guests had access to the resident sommelier for wine recommendations which further elevated the experience. The service was impeccable-5 stars all the way. I never saw an empty glass or plate the entire night.
A special thank you goes to Mackenzie, Pete, Edwin, Sheri, Sophia, all the bar staff, kitchen staff and additional staff I never got to talk to. Your hard work was noticed by all of us!
We look forward to making Vin Room a family tradition for many years to come.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing in every aspect of the term. We eat out regularly and this is one of the best place in Calgary. Tasty and many variety of options available and we tasted about six tapas they were all very delicious and for the main dish it was great selection and very good quality dinner . The staff was super kind, very friendly and our waitress was very knowledgeable and she created the “ special of the night “ desert which was excellent and I hope will be on the desert menu list soon . Highly recommend this place and Sundays they have for dinner a set menu , we are thinking to go back next weekend again ❤️ Great work vine room team , we appreciate good service and great tasty menu .

What a great experience! The carte des vins was exquisite and the food amazing (I only had appetizers but still). Kidd welcomed us and added a great touch to the service, it’s just great to be near people that enjoy what they do! They have jazz nights on Thursdays and we will definitely be back ❤️
