Was a great restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a private party that had a jazz singer and Trio playing. Our table was right near the band so we had to move to the other side of the restaurant and a lounge area. It was still hard to hear each other, so it wasn't as enjoyable as it usually would be.

I enjoy every experience at the VIN Room West. The owner is a wonderful person and greats her guests as well experience a taste from the kitchen when you arrive that is complimentary. The food, wine selection, happy hour, take out options and Sunday meals and holiday experiences are exceptional. If you haven't been here you must visit. 5 star all around!

Theres a reason we come to the Vin Room West for every birthday .. The service, food, ambiance, everything is always excellent. Tonight was no exception other than I found cheese & charcuterie board as well as dessert a little underwhelming. BUT, considering we ordering almost 10 different dishes, and the rest were outstanding, I am not complaining. Our server was excellent, they sat us exactly as I had requested and value for money was fantastic ! LOVE coming here for special occasions!

Disappointing experience tonight. My son is celiac and the only option on the kids menu was gnocchi instead of the pasta. He asked for a plain burger- no toppings- no sides. Just bun and meat. They charged us $25 plus an extra charge for a gf bun. The kids menu is advertised as $5. Also was surprised that my poke bowl had no poke.....was just vegetables. Is that strange?

Come for Jazz nights on Thursday as we love the music. Also we love coming Sunday with all day happy hour. This location is the best one I find in YYC.

It felt like old-world traditions with modern sensibilities. He knew when to engage and when to offer space. Overall, Vin Room West is a gem.
