I am 23 weeks pregnant and have been in the airport and travelling for over 12 hours. I was about to go to the restaurant waited for the server to come as the sign out front said please wait to be seated.. she just looked at me. I continued to wait. I walked back and forth thinking that eventually she’d come out. But she did not. What a horrible first impression. I didn’t even set foot in the restaurant and it left the absolute worst impression.

Service was excellent, steak ordered med, came out rare. Ask for them to cook a bit more.Came well done. Mac & Cheese was excellent. Still ate the steak, I was starving. 🙃

Chris is a absolutely phenomenal waiter. My fiancee and I had a long layover with a long trip behind us. But coming to the Vin Room and having Chris offer phenomenal quality of service turned the whole evening around. Would absolutely recommend relaxing here and sit in Chris’s section if you can.

Be greet right away with a huge smile and acomodated shortly after, great menu, good cocktails and if you are into wine, them, this is your place, they are in top of every detail. More place at the airport should lead what real customers service is all about. 5*

I feel ripped off, the food was horribly mediocre. Not worth ordering food here. I’m sure wine options are enjoyable, but don’t expect much for food. We ordered steak and frites and a BLT, both which were very lacklustre and disappointing.

This place is amazing. Will go there everytime I am in Calgary airport. So friendly and the food was delicious. Met the owner who was so nice. They Welcomed our dog and gave her a pet bed to sit on. Her own water and a bag of treats. Was so amazing.

Vin Room YCC is our regular pre-flight snack/meal establishment when we fly out of YYC. Today we had Rachel as our server and she was friendly, attentive and professional. Thank you Rach! We will return.

We travel a ton, and maybe we were just on an “on” day, but both my husband and I think it’s one of the best airport food we’ve ever had. The chicken was fantastic, beet salad was amazing, meatballs were great and my husbands Mac and cheese with chicken was wonderful. 10/10 I’d eat here as a restaurant outside the airport. It’s locally owned too we learned. Definitely worth the stop.
