What a great find in the Calgary airport. We had a long layover and needed something to eat. At 2:30 they were not at all busy but seating looked comfortable. She had a Greek chicken club with a salad, I had the Runway burger with fries, they were both grilled perfectly and a very nice size. Being in an airport I expected each meal would be at least $5 more. This is no fast food place but service was quick and our waitress was excellent.

We make our way here every time we are in yyc and have an hour and a half between flights. Yesterday we hoofed it from the A gates as it’s in the D gates but well worth the walk. Service and food are so good. And they have packed lunches for long hauls.

If you want to grab some delicious food while waiting for your flight and don’t feel like fast food, this is the place.
Food is priced $19–$23. The chicken and waffles are delicious. The egg omelette is great. The food comes out quickly—I ordered for two and it arrived in under 20 minutes.
It’s a great spot to stop, relax, eat, and enjoy a glass of wine before your flight.

We decided to stop for a quick bite to eat at the VIN Room in between getting through security and a boarding call for our flight. The food arrived within minutes, was hot and fresh, and very delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive despite being very busy. What a wonderful way to start our vacation. We will definitely be back the next time we’re flying out of YYC.
