I am from a poor country and new to Canada. Sadly (base on the response of the Owner), I am not served veal ( I was served with the parmesian “veal” that has a wing).Like many reviews, I looked forward so I tried your Menu from the Appetizer, Salad, Pasta, and Veal. I also had wine and desert.Early on, your sassy waitress wanted me to eat the salad served right away, but I said I will have it after the Veal. When the veal came, not knowing what really is it. I am served with a flat shaped poultry with a small wing. When I was to take it out, the same waitress even said I have to break the wing to fit it in the box.I research recently what Veal is in my curiosity. Then confirmed by your description what you serve as Veal - it seems a calf young/old has no wing part. It appears your restaurant is Racist, as I felt discriminated and bullied by this gesture.

May I kindly ask, the veal menu… how do you describe the meat used for veal in your restaurant and menu?

The flavours of the food was good, portions are tiny so keep in mind when ordering. I would’ve gave them an extra 2 star if they acknowledged me choosing their place to bring 6 of my friends to celebrate my birthday.

Wonderful experience. Jess was an amazing host and server. We asked her to choose our menu and she did a fabulous job. The best server I’ve had in Calgary. All of the food was delicious and well presented.
Ordered the bread and meatballs to start. The bread was amazing, fresh and warm. The meatballs were okay but nothing special. For the main course we ordered the ravioli and the pesto pasta. Both were amazing, with lots of pasta and amazing sauce.
What an amazing meal. Kudos to Tony Migliarese and his team who served up the best Italian food in the city. The grilled bread with the Nduja spread is to die for. The meatballs were exquisite. The veal chop is amazing. It is huge! We had enough for the two of us and for a take home snack. It is a small place, so the atmosphere is loud and lively. Make sure you make a reservation and try this spot out.

This treasure of a restaurant is like flying to Italy for an evening of unbelievable tastes and sounds. If you haven't experienced this homage to family style meals made with love, run don’t walk! Tony takes care of his guests like you were in his home. Unbelievable food and ambiance. Can't wait to return.

Pretty cool place. Service was excellent from start to finish. Had the whipped ricotta, meatballs and grilled bread as starters. All 3 were very good. For mains we tried the Raviolo and the Panzele (sp) salad. Salad was great. The Raviolo pasta was a little underdone around the edges so a bit of a miss there. Overall nice place, it's loud but just people enjoying themselves. Tiramisu to end the meal was large and very good. The young lady who served us was amazing. Thanks!

Over-hyped. The cozy atmosphere is great, very personable, the only issue is the attitudes of the staff was unfriendly and seemingly in need of some form of self-validation. Other than that the food was great, the prices were high for the quantity, but I believe the quality makes up for it. I may revisit to see if my impression changes.

Food was very good: Upon sitting down for reservation we were informed there was a second seating which wasn't for 2 hours later. We were asked multiple (6) times within the first 20 min if we had decided on our mains (even before ordering our wine) and felt we were being rushed through despite the 2 hour allotment. Unfortunately that took away from the overall enjoyment of our first experience here.
