The noodle soup is flavorful and satisfying, but the chicken wings are disappointing for the price. The portions are tiny, and the sauce isn’t evenly mixed, leaving some wings bland!

The night we ate here the restaurant was super busy but the lone server was running and getting it done. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the pho came with bean sprouts, lime and Thai basil. I thought the pho was OK a little low on flavour and not hot. The spring rolls were very good and came with a dressed up dipping sauce not just plain fish sauce. Overall it was an ok dinner.

Restaurantji Recommends
We ate here yesterday for lunch and it was fantastic! Flavours were really good, service was great, it was quiet but there was a few takeouts that came in. Would recommend to try if you like Vietnamese!

I’ve been here about 3 times and the food has been phenomenal…but today…this was a different story…
I went in today…staff there didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t even say hi, nothing, stood there like they were annoyed for me coming into their establishment. I ordered a satè beef Banh mi, and a sunset mango, with no sugar and no ice….when waiting the, gentleman who took my order came and dropped off my drink, which looked like this…(see photo below) I looked in astonishment as I had to ask my self, is this a joke? He then went on and said that because I asked for no ice or sugar, he didn’t put any milk in it and that’s why it’s less… If you’re gonna be charging $6.50 plus GST for a drink that’s literally half a cup then you’re just Pure extorting your customers.
Regardless, I didn’t even want this drink… I didn’t even wanna refund. I just left it there for them to really reflect on what they offer their customers. You can keep the drink and the $6.50… you obviously need it more than I do

We had the best service and the food was delicious. Cozy and bright. Small space but still accommodated our large group of 8.

The worst banh mi I have ever had.
I got the tofu one - usually I love the flavourful sweet/saucy tofu that comes in banh mi but this one was just pre-packaged fried tofu, completely devoid of flavor, there was no marinade. It's the equivalent of putting undrained canned chicken breast in a club sandwich. Absolutely gross. I drenched the sandwich in sweet soy sauce and it still was bland. The pickles were bland. I make my own Vietnamese pickles at home and they taste 100 times better than this. The kicker? These pickles are SO EASY TO MAKE. Their pickles are just a bit salty and sour, there is no sweetness, not sour enough... it feels like they have a vat of water with 1 tbsp salt and 1 cup of vinegar, and stuck 20lb of carrots in it. The mayo was just regular mayo and not Vietnamese mayo. Honestly I can't even imagine a worse Vietnamese sub.
My parents ate in and picked up the sub for takeout. My dad who usually loves all pho said there was some weird star anise flavour in the soup and that this pho was not good. He NEVER turns down or criticizes food. This was a first for him, so I imagine the pho was pretty bad as well.
I know this place is new, I'm willing to give them a couple of years to hit their stride, then try again. But I work in Forest lawn and I'm spoiled for the best banh mi in town. Heck even the sub place 1 block away by the bottle Depot is so much better than this. It actually is mind blowingly bad.
