Washroom is disgusting. Filthy. Toilet seat broken. No toilet paper. Garbage overflowing at 8:30 am. Staff made aware - did not attend.

My drink was very good! However , I am only giving 3 stars because the barista was not friendly! Not even a hello! how are! what can I get for you. Just stared at me until i decided what i wanted. Very rude and unkind

The interior is comfortable and there are enough chairs and tables to sit and drink. I wish the staff were a little more friendly. I ordered an oat latte, but they made coffee with regular milk and didn't even apologize for the time I had to wait.

Comfortable leather chairs and lots of seating. Perfect temperature. Safe, clean environment with friendly service at this location. Perfect for small groups or solo customers.

My go-to is anything dark mocha (iced in the summer and hot in the winter) and Nanaimo bar.

Never had a bad experience at Waves.

This is downtown 1 block from 8th St SW Somerset (southbound)/Saddletowne (northeast bound) bound trains; 1 block from 2/6 bus stop (southbound) and across the street from 2/7 bus stop northbound. However, good luck with finding parking.

Waves Coffee House downtown Calgary is a quaint, small spot that feels more functional than cozy. The coffee is decent but nothing extraordinary, making it a solid choice for a casual iced coffee rather than a coffee connoisseur’s destination. The staff are great—friendly and welcoming—which adds to the positive vibe. It’s an ideal place for a casual meet and greet or to sit quietly and people-watch, especially since it’s usually not busy. The presence of a Bitcoin ATM is a unique and modern touch. However, it’s not the best venue for serious work or meetings due to its size and atmosphere. Overall, I’d go there to unwind with an iced coffee and reflect on the day rather than for anything intense or formal.

Banana bread was so stale I couldn't eat it, the breakfast muffin was just ok and the latte was so tiny even though I paid extra for a bigger size. Waves isn't worth it imo.

Ash and the other beautiful lady who both have been there working in the mornings that I’ve come are absolutely stellar at making you feel welcome, they’re helpful with recommendations & everything is clean and calm In there :)
