Waves Coffee House - Palliser

I went in for a coffee today because it's closer than Sunterra and that's normally where I go everyday for coffee. I am not a business person and was wearing sweatpants today, because it's cold. I handed the lady at the counter a five dollar bill to pay for my coffee and she inspected it like it was a fake, she even took another 5 out of the register to compare the two, as though she didn't believe it was a legitimate 5 dollar bill. I have never been so insulted in my life. Just because I'm not wearing a suit and tie doesn't mean I don't have a few bucks for a coffee everyday. I will NEVER step foot into this coffee shop again.

Was craving a smoothie. Didn’t know they’d have them but was pleasantly surprised. I got strawberry but any flavour would’ve been excellent. So delicious, exactly what I needed.

Jilly and Emman are the best, they really make this place what it is, and honestly make the best drinks out of any baristas that have worked here.

Came at 3:45 and the guy inside said they’re closed, even though hours say 4pm. When I pointed out it’s not even 4pm yet, he just shrugged his shoulders and flipped off the middle finger.Why are your hours saying you close at 4 when you close sooner?

The coffee was moderately warm and not piping hot which was a disappointment. But it was good.

Vegetarian options: We tried their spinach feta pastry and everything bagel with cream cheese

Despite the rush, I've rarely faced long wait times. The staff is efficient, ensuring orders are taken and served without much delay. If you're looking for good coffee without the usual fuss or long waits, this place delivers.

Iced mocha was great and its smaller cafe then what I expected. Pretty obvious layout seats like right opposite the counter and stuff. There is few spots available little side but kind of quick and leave place more likely.Service was okay!

A great sandwich and the coffee is amazing. A must try coffee for coffee lovers.
