I haven’t been to Wendy’s in years after they raised their prices, but I figured why not treat myself. Oops big mistake. On the drive in order board, there are now acronyms so you have to figure out what it is from just the picture. I asked the lady at the speaker what do the acronyms mean for the burgers. She didn’t understand me and wouldn’t answer. After 3 tries asking what are the burgers with the initials. I finally gave up and ordered just a classic burger. (I really was wanting a mushroom burger but that wasn’t on the menu. At the actual drive up window the lady barely spoke English. I tried another 3 times to ask her what the burger acronym or initials (BBCM) or something like that, what does that mean? She acted like I was crazy. So I just asked “do you have the portabella burger? She says oh yes! Geez it’s not listed on the menu unless that is what this acronym means. She looks at me like she’s never heard the words initials or acronym before and I’m just making up words. I change my order to the mushroom burger, I can tell she’s now annoyed for changing my order. There was no one behind me so I wasn’t inconveniencing anyone or holding up the line or anything. The whole meal was totally gross. The fries were cold and tough. I think they punked me. It used to be my favorite. The bacon was broken bits, barely any cheese and mushrooms, the bun looked like it was meant for the junior bacon cheeseburger (jbc). It was $15 for a tiny gross burger in a combo. In fact now that I think about it. This WAS a jbc with a little mushroom sauce. What a far cry from what you used to serve! You need to give it a proper name like junior mushroom burger instead of pretending it’s the same as before. It’s definitely not. 🤢🤮
