Beautiful sushi plate and a very kind and attentive owner. The food was fresh and delicious. I like spicy food and my friend doesn’t, and he even made some pieces of the sushi hotter than others to accommodate us. The place is fully vegan and carries sushi, hot food like ramen, and even sweet treats like vegan cheesecake. We were very happy to find this place and support the owner!

This place is amazing! You can tell that all the ingredients are high quality. I got vegetarian sushi there while pregnant, which is great to fill a craving! The staff (owners maybe?) are great too, very kind. I drove past this place everyday from work and didn't realize it was Japanese and had amazing Japanese products. Also, tons of great drink choices, including sake!!

So fun to see a fully vegan Japanese restaurant instead of just a token avacado roll and edemame! We had the fire roll, the pressed green, plus a third one that might have been the futomaki roll. Everything was delicious, although the fire roll was my personal favourite.

Favourite Japanese spot in the City and instant recommendation to friends and visitors to Calgary. It’s readily apparent that tonnes of love goes into everything they do, from the interior design to their innate charm and hospitality which is to say nothing about the food. And although we can 100% recommend the sushi/oshizushi offerings, we were blown away tonight with their Fall special ochazuke - warming, filling, savoury soul food.
Even got a free maple seed cookie from their holiday giveaway envelopes - what a treat :)
