The food was good, not exceptional. The prices are very high, in my opinion. When you open the door and step into their deep fryer, I wished I hadn't washed my hair to go there. The $18.00 half cup of spätzle still seems absurd! Decor is dated, and their chairs are extremely uncomfortable. Back was sore before we got our entrees.
If they had more reasonable prices, I bet they would be busier.
Was ok to go once, but we won't be back.

Delicious and authentic Austrian cuisine. This family run restaurant is an absolute must visit in Calgary. The entire experience makes you feel like you're in the old country from the amazing schnitzel to the Austrian salad and spatzle - exactly how I remember them when I visit family! The deserts are handmade in house and if you really want a treat at the end of the meal ... Einspanner. Viennese coffee with whipped cream. The menu is set up as either a 2 or 3 course...
