I've been going to Wok With Dave for several years, although I will admit I've had a long break over the past few years. The order was prepared quickly and was on time for pick up (although I did only order Hot & Sour Soup). I ordered Hot & Sour Soup and it was very subpar. There are hardly any ingredients in it. It should have Chinese mushrooms, bamboo shoots, lily root (although I've yet to find this in Calgary), and black fungus as well as bean curd (tofu)....
All dishes were spot on and delicious! I think I found my go to. Value is also the best out of all Chinese takeouts I’ve had. Thanks Wok With Dave, really good!Paying in cash offers you a 15% discount and credit card 10% off for pickup orders. The prices are already very good as is! Drooling.
We have ordered from Wok with Dave 3 times now and have been very impressed. The food is very good- fresh and with good flavour. I have liked every dish we have ordered but especially the ginger chicken and sweet and sour pork. The portions are very generous. We will continue to support this small business.
