You can't get a good barista level coffee experience here. The milk was overheated and the foam was unpleasant. Also I was sitting inside and they brought me coffee in a paper cup...

I tried this coffee shop way before they're newly opened. I loved the coffee but when I went there recently with my classmates the guy from the counter is rude. We're just asking questions but he looks irritated. No thank you nor welcome. We understand that this is a small business/ coffee shop but there's no customer service. I'm embarrased to recommend this.

It was my first time visiting this café with my friends. There were four of us, and we ordered three coffees, spending nearly $20. My wife was waiting in the car and doesn’t drink coffee, so I wanted to bring her a cup of water.

The staff told me there was water available in a glass for customers to drink inside, but when I asked if I could take some in one of their drink cups, they said it wasn’t allowed unless I paid for it.

I found it unreasonable to be charged for a cup of water after already purchasing three drinks. This left a very negative impression of the café. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

Bit dissappointed with the quality of the coffee.. not sure if the drip coffee is from Vietnam or the french variation which has a different more smoky woody taste. The coffee was strong, but it had a different flavour profile that was off since my visit to Vietnam. Hard to pin the flavour profile due to the condense milk mixed in, but it's definitely not what you'll typically have in Vietnam or maybe just the parts I've traveled to.

In my opinion overall, I found the coffee okay. Service was great and the Salty Egg Cupcake so-so.

Week End

Our experience at Xin Chao was overall pleasant. The café offers a decent amount of seating, making it an ideal spot for socializing and getting some school work done. However, I did deduct a couple of stars from my rating due to the coffee quality. I ordered a cappuccino, which was unfortunately too hot and overly bubbly for my liking. Ideally, it should have had a smooth, velvety consistency with creamy foam. On a positive note, my friend ordered the chai and mentioned that it was at a perfect temperature, allowing them to enjoy their drink shortly after it was served. While the atmosphere and service were great, there is definitely room for improvement in the coffee preparation. Thanks Xin Chao!

Bizarre that absolutely nothing here is vegan including the rice, noodles, spring rolls, and tofu. Def don’t recommend and won’t come here again.

There are some interesting types of coffee. The shop is quite small, and it was busy when we visited. The selection of cakes was limited

This is a Vietnamese coffee house. The vibe is as such and the coffee is amazing. Come try the coconut, egg or salted coffee.

I want to gatekeep this place because it just keeps getting busier and busier every time I drop by. Sometimes it gets loud in there but that's not on the store, that's jus the nature of acoustics when there are many people there. No fault on the cafe, just a heads up.

I LOVE that I can go to a stand alone store to get my Viet coffee fix and I really do enjoy it. I usually get the afternoon coffee or the salted coffee. Both are GREAT. I have also tried the matcha (good!) and the roasted milk tea (so thankful for this).

It's hard to make these drinks dairy or lactose free without destroying the essence of the drink so keep your lactaid pills on hand.

I've also tried their egg tarts and croissants as well - I prefer the egg tarts bc I can't normally get that. They've expanded their menu to include more food items (asides the snacks in the display), so if you're hungrier they have options.

The bathrooms are spacious and most importantly, CLEAN!!

The location on Google Maps will give you the parking lot at the back and it’s not exactly the best location ever. The cafe was nice though and I enjoyed my coffee. You wouldn’t go there just for the coffee but if you happen to be around, it’s a nice option to have.
