We had a shorter "layover" visit with our son who was en-route home than expected due to flight delays , but the service we received allowed us to enjoy a meal and maximize the time we had with this layover in Calgary. Just excellent service from the staff. We are very appreciative. And the food, as always, was so tasty and well presented. It was a most enjoyable experience. My thanks.

This is a hotel restaurant inside the YYC terminal, so prices are going to be high. The food quality is OK, but the menu (202 summer menu) is not as appealing as the winter menu was. The star of the show for us is the old-fashion cocktail which arrives enveloped in hickory smoke.

For an airport hotel restaurant it's pretty good. I did have a few small issues with sending a beer back as it smelled of dish soap but responded really and replaced it with no issues. The food was good and the price is very good for its location. The decor is nice.

5 stars – Excellent Service from Tristan

I recently had a short stay in Calgary, and during both my arrival and departure at the Calgary International Airport, I stopped by the Yakima bar/restaurant at the Marriott inside the terminal.

Both times, I was served by Tristan, and I have to say — he was outstanding. I ordered burgers, fries, a couple of drinks, and some food, and Tristan was consistently kind, professional, and attentive throughout.

He made me feel welcome without overdoing it, checked in at the right times, and genuinely delivered great customer service. In an airport setting — where things are often rushed or impersonal — he stood out for his calm energy and thoughtful service.

I really appreciated his hospitality, and it made those moments between flights a lot more enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Tristan if he’s working. He’s the kind of person who raises the standard.

Good place to go for a bite while staying at the airport Marriott overnight for an early flight. Had the Cobb salad which was good. A couple of rum and diet drinks. Took about 25-30 minutes to get entree on a not-so-busy night?… Atmosphere is “nice airport restaurant.”

Horrendous service , waiters seemed to think they had something better to do than serve tables. Place was pretty close to empty, Sat with an empty drink for 20 minutes before someone finally came over. Do not recommend, it’s worth the walk to CODO agave social house instead

Excellent food and service! They use real roasted turkey on the turkey club, served warm, delicious!! Thank you Yakima!

The food was good, the staff were great, but the service was so slow. I am grateful we were not catching a plane. The staff explained that because it was Friday, they were always busier, but if they knew that would happen why wouldnt they staff for it. I understand staff issues can sometimes happen, but this just wasnt necessary.

The food wasn't a knock out, it didn't stand out. That said the service was stellar.

Great place to just have a few drinks, or even have a fancy dinner. Service is great, and the food is delicious. Being located in the airport hotel, it's also a great place to have a business dinner after your meeting in one of the hotel conference rooms.
