Their fresh mango cream cake is amazing - it's carefully crafted by hand and filled with mangoes, perfect for mango lovers! The cake was also not overly sweet. I also like that they're locally owned and operated. Will definitely be trying more items on their menu.
Despite being right on Centre Street, this tasty gem is not necessarily easy to spot; it is more than worth the effort of finding it though!
I am not generally someone who loves cake, but that could be because North American cakes are so sickly sweet. This is not the case at Yamato. The cakes have an appropriate level of sweetness and the flavour comes from the variety of delicious ingredients and not just sugar. Here, I can genuinely say I love cake!

I came here earlier today with my boyfriend and the service was amazing, the owner was so sweet and the desserts were delicious! If you are ever craving some Japanese desserts you need to check this place out :)
