I only had cocktails and the charcuterie board here before an event at Hotel Arts. The board was fine ... nothing amazing. The atmosphere is very cool, and the service is excellent. I come for the Sloe and Lazy cocktail which is my favourite!
We were staying at the attached hotel, hotel arts also a strong recommend, and decided to pop in for a drink before a hockey game. The staff were unbelievably warm and welcoming, especially Patrick who took the time to talk to us about the beer we were having and answer all our questions and have a nice conversation. The food was fantastic but it’s definitely the staff that will bring us back.
Tried this for the YYC EXP happy hour. Old fashioned was tasty with an orange peel as I waited for my friend. We had the raw oysters which were fresh, slightly briny and delicious followed by moules frites. The mussels were in a spicy broth and the fries were tasty but looked burnt as they were a dark amber colour. Still tasted good. Next we shared a mortadella pizza.
