Waitress only answered with one word and she didn't engage in friendly conversation with us. Im not asking for much but at least know how to interact with paying customers...

It's our first time trying Yemeni cuisine, so delicious! Noreen and Viacia were doing an excellent job serving us, so welcoming and friendly, they made our entire dining experience pleasant and enjoyable! I will definitely be coming back!

I will give only 5 stars to the servants, the food quality is medium to very good, my concern is the cleanliness of the restaurant, the kitchen area and around looks dirty, a lot of garbage bags around the building, seems like no one cares about cleaning around. When I passed in font of the kitchen and the doors opened I saw a view which I did not like. The chefs does not look like professional or following the proper hygiene procedures. Again, food was ok.

We went here specifically for fish the moofa. The 2 fish on their menus we chose the server said were not available. We finally had to choose another kind king moofa. Food was served on a much smaller portions than what was shown in the menu photo. Not worth the price charged. Our fish was burnt. When I let the server know, she said or sorry I will give you a discount and noticed she only gave me $5 off. Seriously? The restaurant did not look clean which makes one question how clean the food is. I ordered a chicken wrap to go. The menu said $12.90 (see pic) and the second one for $4. But I was charged $22.90. The server said the wrap was $16 and with “tax” n all it’s $22.90. I told her it’s prices $12.90 as I showed her before ordering. She said oh maybe the menus price is changed. Plus I said GST was charged at tuhe end of bill too. She didn’t correct our bill. Writing this as we felt deceived with the prices and portion sizes. I am from Nepal ?? and I really feel food is what connects us all. I could feel that the food was really prepared with love ❤️ The ambience is lovely. The clay jug to drink water transported me back in time when I was small.During the summer in Kathmandu probably 28 years ago, when there was no refrigerator, we would put water in tall clay jars so that it stays cold in the hot summer days. The decors were simply amazing. Very unique and I could peek a glimpse into Yemeni culture.Even the tomato pickle prepared here is similar to our Nepali pickle ( golveda ko acchar) which is mandatory with each Nepali meal.Although Yemen ?? and Nepal ?? seem so far apart, I am glad I could sense we are not that different after all.Truly good food. Me and my friend tried Fahsa, Lamb Mandi with saffron rice and Areeka, a delicious dates dessert with sesame,honey. Amazing ?The servers were truly amazing too. Really would have fond memories of the experience at your restaurant and I would definitely come visit you guys again ?Shukran ☮️ ?
