The food is great. Tasty rice and tender chicken. I'd say it's a little more on the expensive side. Why is side of jollof $10 for 2 scoops. Kind of insane.

Tried it for the first time and it was an awful experience. Chicken was burnt to the point of being black and tasted very unfresh, plantain was fried till it was black and rice had no taste. Poor quality control as I was shocked that someone was bold enough to serve such slop to humans. Complete waste of money

I read a review stating this place is hard to find .... as it should be this was by far the worst food ive ever eaten in my life my mom's drunken spaghetti looks like a 5 star meal in comparison and she would serve it off the floor the meat was mystery meat if meat at all didnt look like anything ive ever seen come from an animal and i worked at a slaughter house my dog wouldnt even eat and she eats her own poo disgusted

A hidden gem! Moving from Toronto, my partner and I have been missing some good Caribbean food out here in Calgary. We ordered the oxtail, plantain, rice and peas and it was delicious! We've had this dish elsewhere in Calgary and Yenny's is far superior. The only downside is that it was about $27 for one meal which is on the pricier end. I would expect either a lower price or bigger portions.
